FDAAM network Recipe for success Take a community that has conditions for developing a health project. See if there is interest for the project (BE-RO). See if there are enough resources for a health initiative (people, time, means for action). Determine what will mobilize all resources (what the community needs). Is there water in the pot? Give information about the project. Answer peoples questions. Make local visits. Invite them at trainings. Create a vision of possible developments. Help them attract resources for action. Slowly add ingredients Give people time to make things happen. Leave it up to them to decide when and how will they make the first step. Be patient, stay positive. Let it cook! Appreciate it when people decide to take action. Support them step-by-step. Keep things going. Stir and serve! Different, still melting If we agree on something now, that doesnt mean we cant be creative about it later. We fulfill our promises, only we take time with it. And if you decide to write us an, you wont even know we read it. Romanian way Every agreement is like a building it demands heavy lifting and its there to stay. Once theyve promised something, they wont let you get away with it. Dont write them aif you dont want an answer right the way. They will expect the same from you. Belgian way Helping a partner in difficulty will turn him into a reliable, strong equal. We face different challenges, but we all are part of the solution. We dont have to settle for stone soup, together we can make a better one. Partners way Served to you, by
