Heavenly Father:
Fill our hearts with gratitude so that we may constantly remember the unremembered. Let us not turn our backs on those who stand in need. Help us to remember the hungry with food, not just prayers.
And now bless this food to our use and us to Your service. Amen

Lt. Governor Rande LeFevre awarded The Eagle Feather Achievement Award to Doris Barnes and Burt Van Wagner for their outstanding service.
Mr. Woodhouse presented a riveting story of his search for “the story”. Having been drawn to memorials of fallen sons of our Jacksonville community, Johnny found himself spending years seeking details of the lives of many of our own who offered the ultimate sacrifice for his country, family, and friends. His quest has involved local heroes from every conflict since WWII. He is a good man doing what he can to help others remember who these people were and what they gave for us all. --Butch Shadwell
Johnny Woodhouse: a native Floridian, graduated from Sanford H.S. & Univ of North Fla. Has been a writer for over 10 years with the Beaches Leader . Began as a sports columnist, and over the years has become a featured reporter focusing on the history, residents and happenings in the Beaches communities. Most of his stories, and his presentation yesterday, focus on the lives of people who have served in the military services. His Kiwanis talk was primarily about the many former attendees of Fletcher H.S. who lost their lives in WWII, Korea, & Viet Nam. Johnny went into detail on building a story: the research, family contacts, internet processes, etc. He answered several members questions concerning events and people from the Beaches. -- Carl Krouch

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Fletcher Key Club This past Saturday, John Bates, Jim Lee, and Bill Montgomery joined friends, neighbors, and concerned citizens in the continuing search for BUDDY HORNE, brother-in-law of our club's WALT PFEIL.
Mid-morning on February 28, Buddy Horne was seen riding a bike near his home in THE WOODS, a gated community west of the Intracoastal Waterway. There has been no trace of him after he was seen on his bike that Wednesday morning.
Many of you have seen the newspaper and TV reports of his disappearance. If any of you have any information you think will be helpful, please call 220-5584 or 742-2277.
