WE ARE BETTER UNITED. Impact Areas The needs in our region are wide-ranging. Our mission at United Way of Northeast Georgia is to meet the highest priority needs. That’s why, after diligent data analysis, research, and insights from community members, we determined three areas of the highest needs where we can help move the needle. Those areas are basic needs, early childhood success, and workforce development. Where We Serve We cover a 12-county region across Northeast Georgia. Our counties range in demographics, but they are full of people who are committed to caring for one another and creating a strong community throughout our region. Those counties that we serve include: Banks, Barrow, Clarke, Elbert, Franklin, Greene, Hart, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, and Oglethorpe. Resources We know that everyone in our community faces challenges. That’s why we have 211, a health and human services information and referral program that connects people in our community with local resources to meet their needs. This resource can be accessed 24/7/365 via our online database found at our website, by texting a zip code to 898-211, or by calling 211 between 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. on weekdays to connect with a live Community Connection Specialist. This service will connect you with organizations and resources closest to where you are. Connect with United Way of Northeast Georgia online via our website at unitedwaynega.org.
