THE SERVICE STATION - PUMPAProduct and navigation design

The concept of the new Service station network Pumpa. The main criterium was to bring

innovative design which can be easily recognized by Slovak customers and can move

the service stations Gas toward the premium segment.

We were working with the Ecolyzer, device that sums up the ecological influence of

the materials and technologies used. It help us lower design’s overall energy and

material consumption.

JUNIPERUSExhibition stand and bar - product and exhibition design

The basic elements of the exhibition stand are the oversized bottle and the bar, which represent the

alcoholic drink Borovička in a new bottle. The construction is made from aluminium profiles and stretched

printed textile. The wooden parts emphasize the warm and natural qualities of the exhibition stand.

The realization of a backlit bar remained a challenge by itself. An original composite wall was designed

to fulfill this purpose. The wall meets all the objectives: it is light and its flexural strength is high, the outer

surface is smooth and washable, it is a�ordable and only a small amount of plastic materials was used.

ŠOFO COLA PMXPost mix dispenser / product design

The design of a new cover and accessories for an existing dispenser.

The machine covered entirely in metal underwent a substantial

redesign. The outer metal covering was replaced by 2 formed coloured

Perspex plates. This project was developed in cooperation with

Pergamen Design Studio.

PIERRE BAGUETTE B:FITCountertop cooler / product design

Pierre Baguette – the manufacturer of dessert baguettes and sandwiches is coming to the

market with a new product: fitness salads. The planned selling places include cafés and fitness

centres. For the concept in these locations, the client demanded incorporation of

highly-e�cient cooling space, unintrusive design, printable sides and a clear company logo.

The fridge is unique thanks to its distinct oval edges and slightly bevelled shape. The company

graphic materials use the company logotype on a red stripe, which was also reflected in the

fridge design.

CHATEAU RÚBAŇ TOTEMNavigation totems / product design, navigation design

The design of 4 navigation totems for a winery site. The site include a reconstructed

historical mansion as well as a modern building with a hotel and winery. Totem design

takes into account the characteristics of both architectonic styles. The information sides

are made of natural Equitone fibre cement plates. The sidewalls of the totem light up in

the evening with orange lights, matching the orange parts of the modern buildings in the

site. This project was developed in cooperation with Pergamen Design Studio.

GEMERKA BOTTLES1,5 L PET bottle / product design

Drink manufacturer Slovenské pramene a žriedla was developing a new

packaging for Gemerka mineral water. The client requested to develop

an ergonomic bottle that will also display product’s benefits. The aim

was also to enter the market segment of premium mineral waters

(Magnesia, Mattoni).

With its noble silhouette, the design for Gemerka stands out among

other bottles on the counters. The embossing on bottle surface evokes

minerals contained in this mineral water – the main benefit of Gemerka.

Project also includes the redesign of bottle label.

SAA SIGN BOARDShop sign / product design

Saint Adalbert Association (SAA) received a new visual style by Pergamen

Design Studio. SSA shops are also undergoing a step-by-step rebranding.

The clean design required a minimalist shop sign that fits to contemporary

as well as historical architecture. A backlit version of the shop sign was also

made. In this version, only the white linear graphic is lit.

Visual attractiveness is supplemented by massive 10 mm thick

Perspex plates.

PECOBIKES CITY PEDALSWooden pedals / product design

The request from Pecobikes bicycle workshop was to develop

wooden pedals for city bicycles. Two concepts were prepared as

prototypes for testing. The project also included design of original

mechanical parts of the pedals.

The picture shows the “City“ design, with anti-skid surfaces

made of cork.

THE HOLY TRINITY CHURCHInterior design

A reconstruction of a baroque church interior in the village Cabaj-Čápor near Nitra.

The aim was to restore the sacral character of the place. The design was developed in

association with Zuzana Žúžiová. Pictures of the realization: Jakub Dvořák.

The original aim was to design an inexpensive working chair with

an option of tilting/swinging. Production technology with the CNC

bending machine would allow to manufacture sizes for people of

di�erent heights.
