    Cause In order to reduce the UL CE congestion, we suggest that customers expand the CE.But they didnt want to buy more CE license right now.

    So we use the algorithm optimization to reduce the CE congestion in a short target. It

    should be enable the hot traffic site WMEC1 and check the performance after enable

    the LDR algorithms base on the CE.Algorithm Switches need to be enabled

    2If we enable the LDR algorithms, and DCCC Algorithm should be enable at the same time.

    How to set the DCCC algorithms:

    a) SET CORRMALGOSWITCH: ChSwitch=DCCC_SWITCH-1; (RNC level)

    b) BE service reduction: ADD CELLLDR: CellId=11111,

    UlLdrFirstAction=BERateRed, UlLdrSecondAction=NoAct;

    The following table show us when the LDR algorithms base on the UL CE work normally.

    SuggestandSummary

    LDR algorithms work normally and reduce the UL CE consumption.

    LDR algorithms base on the CE only can avoid the basic congestion in

    WCDMA system. For heavy congestion sites such as the WMEC1, LDR

    algorithms base on the CE can not clear up the all CE congestion.

    HUAWEI recommend operator to expand the hardware capacity to avoid the

    CE congestion at all.
