1. Introduction

1.1 Purpose

The details pertaining to development of the child and mother for a particular district

entered by the Supervisor, which needs to be verified and approved by CDPO followed by

DSWO. If rejected at any point of time, the same is forwarded back to the Supervisor

wherein the process is repeated.

1.2 Getting Started

To start using the application, enter the URL (http://203.129.207.124/e-Pragati/) in the

browser to view the following login screen:

2. Supervisor For Supervisor login, enter the credentials of the authorized user in the respective fields to

enter the application-

Enter the User ID in the textbox provided. User id for supervisor consists of 12

alphanumeric characters. In this user id, first 3 alphabets are sup, which is same for

all the supervisors. Second 2 digits represent state code, next 3 digits for district

code, next 2 digits are for project code and last 2 digits are for sector code.

Enter the Password of the user. It is same for the users by default i.e. password. It is

always recommended to change your password in first login and regular time

interval to maintain security of your data.

Enter CAPTCHA code as it is showing on your screen.

Click the LOGIN button to enter the application.

After clicking on login, the user can view the following dashboard as displayed below-

The dashboard displays a list of important global links in the left menu which can be

navigated along and studied. the center of the screen gives a graphical representation of the

SAM Child, Child Population, etc. along with other notifications and employee directory.

2.1 ICDS MPR

For entering details of the ICDS into respective fields, expand the ICDS MPR global link in

the left menu.

2.1.1 Data Entry

Click the Data Entry primary link in the left menu to enter the details of population, SNP &

nutritional status, Pre-school Education, VHND & NHED, IFA and Staff Position.

2.1.1.1 Population Details

The Populations details screen is the default page-

The name of the District, Project and Sector remains default for the login supervisor

and those should not be changed. Year and Month remains default as per the current

month and year, for which population details are to be entered.

If MPR details for the sector of selected month & year has been approved previously,

then a message box will be shown with approval date is mentioned.

In case they are not filled yet, then the system gives a message giving a timeline

when the data for the sector can be filled in.

In the Details of existing Anganwadi section-

o The figure for the total no. of Anganwadi sanctioned and functioning is

displayed.

o The total no. of Anganwadi centers reporting is to be entered which should

be equal or less than the total Anganwadi functioning.

Enter the number of Anganwadi centers opened on various days should be entered

and their summation will be same or less than no. of Anganwadi reporting.

In the ICDS Project Population details in Reporting AWs (as per AW Survey

Registers) section, the total no. of male and female in the respective area is

displayed.

For editing any data, select the checkbox for Enable Population data editing.

If the details for the total no. of Pregnant Women, Lactating Mother, children of

various age groups, Adolescent girls, etc. are populated in the respective fields, the

by enabling the edit option data can be modified for each.

In the Reported Births and Deaths section,

o Provide the numeric figure for the total birth and death of boys and girls

under various sections.

Enter or modify the numeric figure for the no. of Anganwadi provided SNP in a

month at various intervals of time.

In the SNP Coverage section-

o Provide the no. of beneficiaries of pregnant women, nursing mother, children

of various age groups belonging to different categories like SC, ST, etc. in the

respective textboxes given.

o Also provide the figure for the No. of received SNP within a month for

beneficiaries like pregnant women, nursing mother, children of various age

groups belonging to different categories like SC, ST, etc. in the respective

textboxes given.

In the Classification of Nutritional Status column,

o Enter the normal weight, moderately underweight and severely underweight

details of boys and girls of various age groups in different grades, calculating

the total figure for the same.

o For MUAC measurement, enter the numeric figure for the no. of boys and

girls of different age groups belonging to various zones such as Green, Yellow

and Red zone of nutrition.

The total number of children measured in different zones is

calculated.

Click the Next button to proceed in to the next step.

o On choosing the next option, the data entered in the respective screen is

saved which can be modified further on returning back in the same screen.

o Choosing the next functional tab doesn’t allow the data to be saved if any of

them have been modified at any point of time.

2.1.1.3 Pre-School Education

To enter the pre-school education details of the children of various age groups, click the

Pre-School Education tab-

For the sector name chosen-

In the Pre School Education section, enter the numeric figure for the no. of

Anganwadi centers who conduct pre-school education in a particular month at

various intervals of time.

In the Attendance section-

o Provide the attendance of boys and girls who have attended school for 16 or

more days in a month. The students belong to various categories.

The total count for the children is calculated.

o Enter the figure for the daily attendance of boys and girls belonging to

different age groups wherein total is calculated at the end.

Also record the no. of children absent throughout the month and

present for at least one day.

Provide the details of the number of days on which any PSE activity was conducted

and at least four PSE activity was conducted in the respective textboxes given.

Click Next to proceed to the next screen.

o On choosing the next option, the data entered in the respective screen is

saved which can be modified further on returning back in the same screen.

2.1.1.4 VHND & NHED

To enter the details of vaccination and immunization given to the children of various age

groups, click the VHND & NHED tab-

In the Immunization coverage section, enter the details of number of children born

and the figure who have taken immunization during this period in the respective

space provided.

Enter the detailed summary of the Village Health and Nutrition Day (VHND) in the

respective textboxes provided like any antenatal check-ups conducted or not, any

list prepared before NHD for Vit-A at any AWC, etc.

Enter the health check-up details done for boys, girls of different age-groups along

with that of pregnant Women and nursing mother in the respective textboxes

provided.

Enter the details of the frequency as to the number of times the officers who have

visited the AWC.

Click the Next button to proceed to the next screen.

o On choosing the next option, the data entered in the respective screen is

saved which can be modified further on returning back in the same screen.

o Choosing the next functional tab doesn’t allow the data to be saved if any of

them have been modified at any point of time.

2.1.1.5 IFA

For entering the details of the IFA medicines given to the girl child of different age groups,

click the IFA tab-

In the AACP Data column, enter the detailed numeric figure for total no. of

Adoloscent girls in the location, girls who are out of school, no. of girls enrolled into

the scheme and no. of girls requiring 4 IFA tablets in the respective textboxes

provided.

Enter the detailed stock details of the IFA medicines including syrups and tablets.

o Provide the count for the Opening stock, receiving stock, stock distributed

and closing stock.

Click the Next button to move on to the next step.

o On choosing the next option, the data entered in the respective screen is

saved which can be modified further on returning back in the same screen.

o Choosing the next functional tab doesn’t allow the data to be saved if any of

them have been modified at any point of time.

2.1.1.6 Staff Position

To enter the details of the officers who are appointed for a particular location, click the

Staff Position tab-

Enter the figure for the no. of appointments done for various officers under

Sanctioned, In-Position, Vacant and Trained categories in the respective textboxes

given.

Below the user gets a column which needs to be filled in by the CDPO only. The data

required are Sanctioned, In-Position and Vacant positions for different designations.

If the user wants to save the data in draft mode, then click the Save as Draft button.

If the data entered are correct in all respects, then click the Submit for Approval

button.

On submitting, the request is forwarded to the CDPO for approval.

Logout from the account of the Supervisor.

3. CDPO

The details submitted by the Supervisor needs to be verified and approved by CDPO. In

case of any mismatch, the application is rejected and is reverted back to the Supervisor for

modification.

For CDPO login, enter the credentials of the authorized user in the respective fields to enter

the application-

To view the details of the officers who are sanctioned and appointed, click the Staff

Position tab-

If the figures satisfy, then click the Approve button.

In case there is some mis-match in data, then click the Reject button giving an appropriate

reason for the same.

Enter the Reason for rejecting the application followed by choosing the mode of

communicating the same, i.e. either Email or SMS.

Click the Submit button.

If rejected, then the application is sent back to the respective supervisor to modify and re-

apply.

Logout from the account of the CDPO.

Login into the account of the supervisor and click the Data Entry primary link under ICDS

MPR.

Follow the similar process of entering data into the respective pages under each head and

move on to the next screen by choosing the Next option.

In the final screen, i.e. Staff Position, enter details of total staff appointed in the AWC as

shown below-

After entering data, to save the same in the draft mode, click the Save as Draft option.

After approving the MPR data for all the sectors only, the user can get the Submit for

Approval option by the DSW.

For submitting data for approval by the CDPO, click the Submit For Approval option.

After verifying the data, if the data is correct in all respects, then click the Approve button.

In case there is some mis-match in data, then click the Reject button giving an appropriate

reason for the same.

If rejected, then the application is sent back to the supervisor to modify and re-apply.

After the MPR data is approved for all the projects, then only the user gets the option to

Submit for Approval which is the final approval stage as shown below-

Verify the data and click the Submit for Approval button.

5. Admin To view the project wise details approved by the DSWO for all Anganwadi centers, login

into the application with the credentials of the Administrator.

Here the user with admin privilege can view the project/sector wise details and can also

make the necessary changes in any case of emergency.

Administrator can only modify the data fields in sector level. In case of district or project

selection, cumulative data of projects/sectors will be shown and those cannot be modified.

Similarly, the other tabs processes are carried out.

6. Master To add for the master data for managing the responsibilities of the officers belonging to

different designations, expand the Master global link in the left menu-

Select the name of the Sector to which the worker belongs from the list followed by

Enter the Name of the worker to be appointed.

Provide the Father/Husband Name of the appointed worker in the given space.

Enter the SL (Serial Number) of the child in the given space followed by its parents’

name if not auto-generated.

Verify the Date of Birth of the child in DD/MM/YYYY format.

In the R (Religion) column, enter the numeric figure assigned for each respective

religion against each child, e.g. 1-Hindu, 2-Muslim, etc.

Similarly, assign C (Caste) to the child as per the desired numeric value followed by

the MT (Mother Tongue), G (Gender), D (Disability), MC (Mother’s Code) and SAM

(Severe Acute Malnutrition).

Select the NS (Nutritional Status) of the child O (Orange), G (Green) or Y (Yellow).

Green indicates that the child is in safe zone and well nourished.

Provide the Aadhaar no. allotted to the child.

Select the name of the Anganwadi center from the drop down list to which the child

belongs or to which the respective child is to be tagged.

Select the checkbox for the respective child name who is tagged to different

7.2 Child Information

To add the detailed information of the children coming under various Anganwadi centers

in different sectors, click the Child Information primary link in the left menu-

7.2.1 Add

The Add screen is the default page wherein the select the name of the District, project,

Sector and AWC from the respective drop down lists to populate the lists accordingly-

For the Anganwadi center name chosen, provide the serial number (SL), house hold

number (HH), the serial number of the family in the Anganwadi center, name of the Child,

its parents name and Mobile number for contact in the respective textboxes provided.

Enter the Date of Birth (DOB) of the child in DD/MM/YYYY format.

Enter the numeric figure assigned for the type of R (Religion), C (Caste), MT (Mother

Tongue), G (Gender) and other details in the respective column along with the Aadhaar

number.

Click the Submit button to save the child information entered.

7.2.2 Update

To update the information of the children as entered for the respective AWC, click the

Update tab-

Select the name of the District, Project, Sector and AWC from the respective drop down lists

to populate the details of the child already added for the respective center.

The record highlighted in brown color indicates that the data for the same is already

verified and updated.

For updating any record, enter data in the respective fields followed by selecting the

checkbox for the respective record and click the Update button.

7.3 Supplementary Nutrition Program

Each Anganwadi center comes under a certain nutrition program wherein children are

provided with hot served mid-day meal along with morning snacks in a hygienic manner.

Submit button.

The child can exit from the SAM list by choosing the Exit ( ) option. On doing so, the

Select the type of group from the drop down list to populate the names of the

authorities under the respective group type.

On doing so, the names of the users coming under the selected group type is displayed as

MPR data entry is initiated by the supervisor. In this process he/she has to enter MPR details of

Population, SNP & Nutritional Status, Pre-school Education, VHND & NHED, IFA and Staff

Position.

In all screens, the data are saved on click of Next button except staff position. For staff position,

supervisor has to enter position of Supervisor, AWW and AWH. Click on Save as Draft button to

save staff position.

Submit for Approval is used to send MPR details to corresponding CDPO for approval. After

clicking this button, supervisor could not modify the MPR details of that month.

If the corresponding CDPO rejects that MPR request, supervisor can modify the MPR and re-

submit for approval.

MPR time line and cut-off date for each month and year is showing to all the supervisors, as they

are responsible for the data entry.

b. CDPO

Project officer has to verify information provided by each corresponding sectors and finally

he/she has to submit the project information to DSWO as a whole.

c. DSWO

Social welfare officer has to approve the information provided by each Project one by one and

finally he/she has to submit the MPR information of the district to the state monitoring

authority.
