This is me putting the static wrist band on because this will prevent me from getting electrocuted. Always put the static wrist band on the opposite side of your heart this will prevent you from getting hurt or dyeing.

Checking if the circuit breaker works will prevent you from getting hurt or prevent from hurting others around you. How to test if the circuit breaker works by resetting the circuit breaker first then press test if the light comes on the circuit breaker works.

This is me taking the RGB out of the computer. Whilst I am taking the RGB off I have the static wrist band on to protect myself and others around me.

This is me taking out the yellow wire. Whistle I am taking the wire out of the computer I have always got on the wrist band so then I won’t get hurt also I have the PPE on so then I will be protected from sharp objects.

This is me taking out the RAM card. Whiles doing the procedure I have on the static wrist band and my PPE this will prevent me from getting hurt or others around me from getting hurt.

This is me unplugging the power supply. Whiles I am unplugging these wires from the computer I have always got my static wrist band on me at all times this will prevent me from getting hurt or electrocuted.

Everything was unplugged. The wires I unplugged I put to the side so then no one will get hurt.

Me unplugging the blue wire from the DVD/CD drive. Whiles I have unplugged the wire I have the wrist band on to stop me from getting an electric shock.

This is the hard drive I dethatched. The hard drive is used to store data and files. Whilst I was taking these equipment apart I always worn the static wrist band and always had on my PPE this prevented me from hurting myself and others around me.

This is the motherboard that I dethatched from the computer. When I dethatch the nails from the motherboard I put the nails to the side out of the way.

Whiles doing all these procedures I have kept the static wrist band on this prevented me from getting hurt whiles taking the computer apart also always wear your PPE this will protect yourself from sharp objects and will also protect your clothes. Whiles building and taking parts of your

computer always put your hair up if you have long hair this will prevent you from getting your hair trapped in the computer also when you are around computer never eat or drink whiles you are working on them this will prevent you from breaking the computer or prevent you from getting hurt. When around computers make sure you take your college badge off and make sure the area you are working in is clean and clear this will make you have more room and more space to move. Make sure you take all your jewellery off whilst you are around the computers this will prevent you from hurting yourself or others around you.

Rules of the build area

You need to tuck your ID badge in your lap coat so you won’t get hurt. You must wear a lap coat. Be sensible around the equipment at all times. You should always have your hair tide back. No food or drinks allowed in the building area No mobile phones allowed in the building area
