ISLAND MAP INSIDE TAKE THIS BROCHURE ASHORE Surrounded by the gentle, translucent waters of the Bahamas lies our private island destination CocoCay®. With its white-sand beaches and spectacular setting, CocoCay is a tropical wonderland of adventure. This private paradise features new and updated aquatic facilities, freshly groomed nature trails and more lounge chairs, hammocks and cabanas — where you can just relax with a cool drink or cocktail. PIER CONSTRUCTION We’re in the process of making exciting changes to the island. Improvements and new features already completed include a restored East Beach and South Beach, relocated cabana area, floating bar, tasty culinary options and more. SAFETY FIRST CocoCay is a natural coral island and the rough coral is often difficult to detect, lying just below the sand. Please exercise caution. We strongly suggest appropriate footwear, such as reef shoes or sandals. ISLAND PURCHASES You may use your SeaPass card to pay for beverages, all activities and any purchases at the Logo shop. You will need U.S. dollars to shop in the Straw Market. TOWELS Please obtain towels from the Pool Deck onboard, as none are available on the island, and return them to the ship. SWIMMING AND WATERSPORTS For your safety, specific beaches have been designated for swimming and snorkeling. A snorkeling safety vest is required and can be rented for a nominal fee at the Snorkel Shack. HEALTH AND FIRST AID The tropical sun can be extremely strong, even on cloudy days. We recommend that guests use sunscreen and bring T-shirts, cover-ups and, particularly for children and the sun-sensitive, sun-protective clothing like rashguard swimshirts. We also advise having footwear that will protect against the hot sand and pathways. Try to avoid strenuous activity on shore or in the water after eating. To reduce the risk of dehydration, drink plenty of liquids while on the island. Our First Aid Station on the island is manned throughout the day. ISLAND ADVENTURES GENERAL INFORMATION SNORKELING AND SCUBA PROGRAMS: Guests must consider their physical fitness level and medical history when determining whether these types of tours are appropriate. Guests with cardiac conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, other heart or respiratory conditions or any other medical condition must take particular caution when selecting a tour with snorkeling/swimming elements, since such water activities could be subject to adverse sea conditions such as high winds, waves and sea current. Guests who have concerns must consult with their personal physician before engaging in any activity that may be strenuous for them, particularly those involving snorkeling/swimming elements. WAVE JET TOUR KAYAK ADVENTURE AND SNORKEL COMBO Tours involving flights, trains, special events, overnight stays, hotel stays and Private Journeys must be cancelled 30 days prior to sailing to avoid cancellation penalties. Other restrictions may apply.
