WATERTECH, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of our new Salt Lake City Dis-tribution and Service Center. With the growth we are experiencing in Northern Utah, and the increase in customer service requests, we feel it important to rise to our cus-tomer’s requests and open up an office in Salt Lake. With an office location in the Salt Lake City area, we are able to provide our custom-ers with a much quicker response to emergency service and support requests, help reduce costs for equipment troubleshooting and service repair and provide an envi-ronment for technical consultation and training.

Located at 1745 South Milestone Rd , the Salt Lake City Distribution and Service Cen-ter is centrally located to support customers from northern Utah, through the Salt Lake City valley and extending to southcentral Utah. With a vast supply of products and equipment, along with locally trained and knowledgeable staff, WATERTECH, Inc. has brought an increase in support to local businesses throughout the Wasatch Valley. We feel it important to see that our customers and future customers have a reliable option they can look to for quick responses and service technicians to help them solve their water treatment needs in as quick a manner as possible.

A New FACE to WASTE

With the ever growing restriction from city municipalities and regulations, industries are scrambling to find ways to respond and comply. WATERTECH, Inc. and our WEP division offers a large selection of powder, emulsion and blended flocculants and coagulant polymers for liquid/solid separation and water clarification. Because of our extended selection, we are able to target better performing products in efforts to improve performance, reduce costs and improve overall compliance.

With the help of our Gemflow equipment divi-sion, WATERTECH can take virtually any waste stream and with our WEP product se-lection, we can clean up streams for water rec-lamation and reuse purposes. If you have a waste stream that is costing you money or that you need find ways to save and conserve on water, call your local WATERTECH repre-sentative and set up a time to have your water stream reviewed. Partners for a Better Envi-ronment is our Motto and our Goal.

Trebor Evans is an integral asset of the production and delivery team. He comes to us from a hospitality management background, where he ran the day to day operations of the hotels. He is an avid Outdoorsman. When he is not at WATERTECH you can expect him to be out fly fishing, hunting, or camping. Tying all of his own flies for fly fishing, he also has picked up hammock camping where he has made his own backpacking hammock and rain cover. Trebor loves trying DIY projects such as working on his Toyota 4runner or making his own wedding ring. As you can see Trebor has no problem jumping in and getting his hands dirty to get the job done, We would like to congratulate him on his nuptials in May and look forward to working with him in the WATERTECH family for years to come. David Orgill is originally from West Valley City Utah. He started working with WATER-TECH at the beginning of 2016. David and his wife Rachel moved to Idaho from Utah and have never looked back. With their 18-month old son named Bentley and a new-born they are always on their toes. “There has definitely been a lot of new info to take in and a lot of new things to learn, but it’s been a great experience thus far. Both my wife and I have been impressed with the people we have been able to get to know and the friendships that we have devel-oped. We continue to look forward to further working with everyone and getting to know each of you better.” David Orgill

2016 was a very busy year for WATERTECH, Inc., with two major develop-ments I would like to share. After 40 plus years at our Warren Avenue location we have out grown our office and laboratory space. In early 2016 we acquired a 10,000 sq ft location in Twin Falls, Idaho and began remodeling the space to suit our needs for a Corporate Headquarters. We moved our offices to this new location in July of 2016. This new space is also allowing us to expand our laboratory service into new Technical Centers which will have expanded ser-vices for Membrane Technology Services. Another major development is the launch of our WaterSmartRx program. Us-ing the latest in online monitoring technology and system integration, we now provide a continuous online and real time monitoring program for plant sys-tems and control. WaterSmartRx allows the customer and their WATER-TECH representative to share instant access to individual system controllers, pump and chemical inventory monitoring, flow and valve monitoring and so much more. Whether a customer is sitting in his office or watching the ball-game at home, he will have instant access to view and make changes to their systems.

WaterSmartRx and all its features are designed to increase the customer’s overall monitoring capabilities as well, and have better control while operating with less personnel and more responsibilities, but it has additional benefit to the WATERTECH representative. He will be able to identify, along with the customer, what systems go into alarm and need immediate attention. This cuts down on the representative’s response time to emergencies. We are al-so able to help the customer ensure that the correct amount of chemical is being fed, monitor chemical inventories and keep their systems running at maximum efficiencies. This program can be used for Boilers, Cooling Towers, Closed Loop Hydronic Systems, Reverse Osmosis and Water Softener moni-toring and so much more. The program can also be configured with an online data logging feature and control that will track systems data entered either by a controller or by operator input. No expensive or labor intensive software is needed to operate WaterSmartRx and can be utilized with any media device connected to the internet. Watertech, Inc. was honored to have recently been the recipient of the annu-al GE Water and Process Technologies, partnership award. This award came as a result of Watertech’s continued success utilizing the GE equipment line over a period of more than 10 years. Watertech, as an elite distributor for GE, works with manufacturing and commercial plants across the country in provid-ing sales and services related to reverse osmosis, ultra filtration, electro de-ionization, general filtration and water purification and recycling. This partner-ship allows Watertech to offer a comprehensive water treatment program. From the point water enters the facility to the point that water exits, Watertech has the ability and technology to treat it.
