Our activities

SADE (a Veolia Environnement company) specialises in the design, construction, rehabilitation and maintenanceof networks (drinking water distribution and sewerage, telecommunications, gas, electricity) and related facili-ties for its clients in the municipal, industrial or private sectors.

Our business lines are developed in accordance with a sustainable development policy, in a constant search forconstructive, environmentally friendly alternative solutions.

• Implementation and deployment of remote meter readingsystems (fixed radio network or walk-by reading mode)

• Water meter fleet management: fleet audits, calibration ofnew and in service meters, periodic statutory audit

• Installation and testing of drinking water network protec-tion devices: backflow preventers and valves

• Sampling, analysis and instrumentation for water systems:consumption studies, physico-chemical water parameterstudies

• Design and installation of monitoring and warning stationsfor raw river water and wastewater

• Construction, protection and rehabilitation of drinkingwater distribution and wastewater collection networks,and fire-fighting systems

• Work on domestic networks: drinking water, domestichot water, wastewater, stormwater

• Services to individual and multiple-occupancy dwellings:domestic plumbing, heating and cooling systems, ventila-tion, finishing works

The Water Meters Division is the link for custo-mers between public and building works, fromcollective networks to individual facilities.

It offers a very wide range of individualized fini-shing work services: domestic plumbing, heatingand cooling systems, ventilation and minor civilengineering works.

It also implements SADE’s skills on private net-works (drinking water, wastewater, stormwater,domestic hot water, fire-fighting).

Dual expertise: water metering and radio The Division deploys advanced expertise in the field of water metering. Itsexpertise in metrology allows it to develop and implement proven, reliableand durable techniques to meet the expectations of its customers.

The Division has a laboratory equipped with 13calibration benches for meters with Ø ≤ 150 mm.Through studies of new and in service meters, itdetermines optimized management modes forwater meter fleets and defines relevant and appropriate renewalpolicies.

The deployment of wireless modules and fixed remote readingnetworks for remote information reporting, complements itsexpertise in consumption analysis, inspections, tests and advice toclients. This expertise is applied at all stages of remote reading:from design study to network operation, via installation, trainingand maintenance, in various technologies (uni- or bi-directionalprocesses).
