An easy to use litter/ash bin with a 35 litre litter capacity and 5 litre ash capacity. The ergonomic stubber height is ideally placed at the front of the unit for ease and speed of use. Glasdon GROUND-LOCK system is a versatile fixing system for securing hooded, open-topped and post-

mounted litter bins in ‘soft’ or unsurfaced ground. Quick and easy to install, without excavating or concreting, the system has a unique ‘remove and resite’ locking feature, so bins can be relocated. GROUND-LOCK system is also

vandal-resistant, the secure siting keeps waste in its place. (GROUND-LOCK system fixing tool required. One tool supplied free with every 3 GROUND-LOCK systems

Duracore™ material features a tough outer wall of Durapol® material with an internal reinforcing wall of cellular construction, which increases rigidity and offers outstanding performance benefits. Duracore will not chip or rust, is easy to clean and never needs painting.

Enviropol® material is manufactured predominantly from post-consumer plastics. By balancing these uncontaminated recycled waste materials, the result is a remarkably versatile product with many applications and benefits. Enviropol will not chip or rust, is easy to clean and never needs painting.

Everwood™ material is a realistic timber grain polymer, which requires minimal maintenance. Everwood is vandal and weather resistant, will not rot, warp or crack.

Vandalex® material is an aluminium alloy engineered to produce a high modulus of elasticity, which offers increased impact absorption properties. Its anodised finish will not rust, is easy to clean and never needs painting.

All Glasdon products manufactured from Durapol, Duraplus, Duracore, Enviropol, Vandalex and Stainless steel can be recycled at the end of their service life.

An optional extra on Glasdon hooded litter bins, FIREXPIRE device is a fire extinguishing plate fitted within the bin top. Should a fire break out inside the bin, a special replaceable, heat responsive device releases the plate which then seals off the mouth of the liner and snuffs out the fire through oxygen starvation. Replacement of the heat responsive device using only a screwdriver resets FIREXPIRE device on site.

(Firexpire is an effective low cost auxiliary device and must never replace primary fire prevention measures. Obstructions preventing the plate from dropping may adversely affect the function of the unit and as many Firexpire devices are used in unsupervised locations, regular inspection and immediate replacement of any damaged or distorted components is essential.)

*For the Nexus 360, Grampian, Modus and Visage, we recommend that a risk assessment is undertaken to identify an appropriate location for your waste collection units.In order to reduce risk, some organisations decide to place the units a minimum of 5 metres away from buildings. Any potential risk can be further reduced by maintaining a regime of regularly emptying the unit.You may also wish to consider installing a Glasdon FireSafe on the Nexus 360 and Modus.
