2 InstallationTo make the product ready for use, review the information in the user manual and make sure that the electricity, tap water supplyandwaterdrainagesystemsareappropriate.Iftheyarenot,callaqualifiedtechnicianandplumbertohaveanynecessary arrangements carried out.

Make sure that the water inlet and discharge hoses as well as the powercablearenotfolded,pinchedorcrushedwhilepushingtheproduct into its place after installation or cleaning procedures.

2.2 Removing packaging reinforcementTiltthemachinebackwardstoremovethepackagingreinforcement.Removethepackagingreinforcementbypullingtheribbon.
2.3 Removing the transportation locks

2.4 Connecting water supply
C INFORMATIONSThewatersupplypressurerequiredtoruntheproductisbetween1to10bars(0.1–1MPa).Itisnecessarytohave10–80litersof water flowing from the fully open tap in one minute to have your machine run smoothly. Attach a pressure reducing valve if water pressure is higher.
Ifyouaregoingtousethedoublewater-inletproductasasingle(cold)water-inletunit,youmustinstallthesuppliedstoppertothehotwatervalvebeforeoperatingtheproduct.(Appliesfortheproductssuppliedwithablindstoppergroup.)
Ifyouwanttousebothwaterinletsoftheproduct,connectthehot water hose after removing the stopper and gasket group from thehotwatervalve.(Appliesfortheproductssuppliedwithablindstoppergroup.)
A WARNINGModelswithasinglewaterinletshouldnotbeconnectedtothehotwatertap.Insuchacasethelaundrywillgetdamagedortheproduct will switch to protection mode and will not operate.
Donotuseoldorusedwaterinlethosesonthenewproduct.Itmaycause stains on your laundry.
Connectthespecialhosessuppliedwiththeproducttothewaterinletsontheproduct.Redhose(left)(max.90ºC)isforhotwaterinlet,bluehose(right)(max.25ºC)isforcoldwaterinlet.
A WARNINGEnsure that the cold and hot water connections are made correctly wheninstallingtheproduct.Otherwise,yourlaundrywillcomeouthot at the end of the washing process and wear out.
Tightenallhosenutsbyhand.Neveruseawrenchwhentighteningthenuts.Openthetapscompletelyaftermakingthehose connection to check for water leaks at the connection points.Ifanyleaksoccur,turnoffthetapandremovethenut.Retighten the nut carefully after checking the seal. 2.5 Connecting to the drain• Theendofthedrainhosemustbedirectlyconnectedtothewastewaterdrainortothewashbasin.

• Thehoseshouldbeattachedtoaheightofatleast40cm,and100cmatmost.

3 Preparation
3.1 Things to be done for energy savingFollowing information will help you use the product in an ecologicalandenergy-efficientmanner.• Operatetheproductinthehighestcapacityallowedbytheprogrammeyouhaveselected,butdonotoverload;see,"Programmeandconsumptiontable".
• Alwaysfollowtheinstructionsonthedetergentpackaging.• Washslightlysoiledlaundryatlowtemperatures.• Usefasterprogrammesforsmallquantitiesoflightlysoiled
laundry.• Donotusehightemperaturesforlaundrythatisnotheavily
soiled or stained.• Donotusedetergentinexcessoftheamount
recommended on the detergent package.
3.2 Sorting the laundry• Sortlaundryaccordingtotypeoffabric,colour,anddegreeofsoilingandallowablewatertemperature.
• Alwaysobeytheinstructionsgivenonthegarmenttags.
3.3 Preparing laundry for washing• Laundryitemswithmetalattachmentssuchas,underwiredbras,beltbucklesormetalbuttonswilldamagethemachine.Removethemetalpiecesorwashtheclothesbyputtingtheminalaundrybagorpillowcase.
• Takeoutallsubstancesinthepocketssuchascoins,pensandpaperclips,andturnpocketsinsideoutandbrush.Suchobjectsmaydamagetheproductorcausenoiseproblem.
• Putsmallsizeclothessuchasinfant'ssocksandnylonstockingsinalaundrybagorpillowcase.

• Laundrythataresubjectedtomaterialssuchasflour,limedust,milkpowder,etc.intenselymustbeshakenoffbeforeplacing into the machine. Such dusts and powders on the laundrymaybuildupontheinnerpartsofthemachineintime and can cause damage.
3.4 Correct load capacityThe maximum load capacity depends on the type of laundry, the degree of soiling and the washing programme desired.The machine automatically adjusts the amount of water according to the weight of the loaded laundry.

3.6 Using detergent and softenerDetergent DrawerThe detergent drawer is composed of three compartments:-(1)forprewash-(2)formainwash–(3)forsoftener–(*)inaddition,thereissiphonpieceinthesoftenercompartment.

3.7 Choosing the detergent typeThetypeofdetergenttobeuseddependsonthetypeandcolourofthefabric.• Usedifferentdetergentsforcolouredandwhitelaundry.• Washyourdelicateclothesonlywithspecialdetergents(liquiddetergent,woolshampoo,etc.)usedsolelyfordelicate clothes.
• Whenwashingdarkcolouredclothesandquilts,itisrecommendedtouseliquiddetergent.

3.9 Using softenersPourthesoftenerintothesoftenercompartmentofthedetergent drawer.• Usethedosagesrecommendedonthepackage.• Donotexceedthe(>max<)levelmarkinginthesoftener
compartment.• Ifthesoftenerhaslostitsfluidity,diluteitwithwaterbefore
putting it in the detergent drawer.Using bleaches• Selectaprogrammewithprewashandaddthebleachingagentatthebeginningoftheprewash.Donotputdetergent in the prewash compartment.
• Donotusebleachingagentanddetergentbymixingthem.
• Usejustalittleamount(approx.50ml)ofbleachingagentand rinse the clothes very well as it causes skin irritation. Donotpourthebleachingagentontotheclothesanddonot use it for coloured clothes.
• Whenusingoxygenbasedbleaches,followtheinstructionson the package and select a programme that washes at a lower temperature.
• Oxygenbasedbleachescanbeusedtogetherwithdetergents; however, if its thickness is not the same with the detergent, put the detergent first into the compartment nr."II"inthedetergentdrawerandwaituntilthedetergentflows while the machine is taking in water. Add the bleachingagentfromthesamecompartmentwhilethemachine is still taking in water.
Using limescale remover• Whenrequired,uselimescaleremoversmanufactured

5.1 Cleaning the detergent drawerCleanthedetergentdraweratregularintervals(every4-5washingcycles)asshownbelowinordertopreventaccumulation of powder detergent in time.
Pressthedottedpointonthesiphoninthesoftenercompartment and pull towards you until the compartment is removed from the machine.

Wash the detergent drawer and the siphon with plenty of lukewarmwaterinawashbasin.Wearprotectiveglovesoruseanappropriatebrushtoavoidtouchingoftheresiduesinthedrawerwithyourskinwhencleaning.Insertthedrawerbackinto its place after cleaning and make sure that it is seated well.

5.4 Cleaning the water intake filtersThere is a filter at the end of each water intake valve at the rear of the machine and also at the end of each water intake hose where they are connected to the tap. These filters preventforeignsubstancesanddirtinthewatertoenterthewashingmachine.Filtersshouldbecleanedastheydogetdirty.
Closethetaps.Removethenutsofthewaterintakehosestoaccessthefiltersonthewaterintakevalves.Cleanthemwithanappropriatebrush.Ifthefiltersaretoodirty,takethemoutbymeansofpliersandcleanthem.Takeoutthefilterson the flat ends of the water intake hoses together with the gaskets and clean thoroughly under running water. Replace the gaskets and filters carefully in their places and tighten the hosenutsbyhand.
5.5 Draining remaining water and cleaning the pump filterThe filter system in your machine prevents solid items such asbuttons,coinsandfabricfiberscloggingthepumpimpellerduringdischargeofwashingwater.Thus,thewaterwillbedischargedwithoutanyproblemandtheservicelifeofthepump will extend.Ifthemachinefailstodrainwater,thepumpfilterisclogged.Filtermustbecleanedwheneveritiscloggedorinevery3months.Watermustbedrainedofffirsttocleanthepumpfilter.Inaddition,priortotransportingthemachine(e.g.,whenmovingtoanotherhouse)andincaseoffreezingofthewater,watermayhavetobedrainedcompletely.
