Governor Falkland Islands repeated Consul Punta Areanas
Consul Valparaiso from Consul General Buenos Aires.
I hear Hylton Fazio representing "Pampero" German Propaganda
newspaper of Buenos Aires proposes to embark for Falkland
Islands from Punta Areanas. His object on return to Argentine
Republic is to foment present enemy agitation against out
possession of Colony. Suggest Your Excellency request Consul
at Punta Arenas not to issue visa.

Buenos Aires, proposes to embark for the Falkland
Islands from Pimta Arenas and that the British Consulthere has Been requested not to issue him with aBritish vsbsa.

Sir,I have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of
1st April on the subject of one Hylton Fazio and note
the position being adopted by the British Consul in
Funta Arenas.
2. The Captains of our vessels are being instructed
that passages to the Falkland Islands should not be
provided in our vessels for any aliens without previous
reference to the local Government.I am,Sir,

March 28th according to press report published in Rio de Gallegos
April 15th Fazio claims that he visited the Falkland Islands but

untrue that person named therein visited Falkland Inlands,
is reported that he unsuccessfully endevoured to get a passage in
a cargo boat from Punta Arenas.

Hemos recibido la visita del representante del diario metropolitan© "El Pampero", Sr.Hector R.Fazio, quien desde hace dias se encuentra en esta, realizando una jira por todos los territories del Sur argentino, en misidn periodistica.
Nos express el senor Fazio, que esta tarde saldra' en automovil con destino a Punta Arenas, para de alii trasladarse hasta las islas Malvinas, en uno de los barcos que hacen el servicio de pasageros y carga.
El nombrado periodista se propone visitar nuestra Islas Malvinas, para formarse una idea propia^de la vida en esa parte de nuestro territorio cuya soberania fue privada violentamente de la Argentina.

Hoy parte con destino a la vecina ciudad de Punta Arenas, "el_corresponsal~d&a;jero del diario metropfclitano "El Pampero", "senor Hector H.Fazio, colega que vlene realizando una vasta "jira periodistica por los territorios del sur, deseoso de "cornpenetrarse, atento al motivo de su misidn, de cuanto concierne "a la modalidad de las regiones, de sus habitantes, de las "actividad^s agro-pecuarias y palpar sobre el terreno problemas "que afectan a la Patagonia y que"SI Pampero" se propone "considerar a travez de sus columnas.
" El viaje del Sr.Fazio a Punta Arenas, respond© a los fines "de ampliar otras cuestiones que interesen a la predicas naciona- "listas del citado vocero. Se le ha enconmendado que visit©"las Islas malvinas. Sir,
I have the honour to report that with
reference to the attached, Senor Fazio has not
called here for any visa or information regarding
his proposed trip to the Falkland Islands.
However, he may have obtained this in Buenos
Aires or elsewhere* He has stated in Punta
Arenas that he is going to the Falkland Islands.
2v As he is known to be very anti British
and mixes a lot with Germans, it is suggested that
he be closely watched all the time he is in the
Falklands Islands-.
3. The paper **E1 Pampero1* is said to be pro-
Nazi, supported by German funds and very anti-
British.
