The proliferation of drones in the hands

of private operators, organizations

and unfriendly nations has spurred the

development of anti-drone systems that are

versatile, scalable and immediately available.

Because there isn’t a single drone

technology, countering both commercial and

military drones requires a layered approach.

When combating obtrusive UASs,

TILTING FIELD SANITATION UNIT (T-FSU)

The Tilting Field Sanitation Unit (TFSU1624) combines the proven performance

of all Babington sanitation systems with the added convenience of single person

transportability and a small storage footprint. The TFSU consists of a three-sink

system heated by a single Airtronic burner. Sinks are 16-inches wide by 24-inches

long and 12-inches deep and hold a maximum of 19 gallons of water.

The system is designed so the operator fills the sinks with water and pulls the ON/

OFF switch for them to achieve and maintain the mandated operating temperatures

for hot water sanitation.

TRAY RATION HEATER - IMPROVED (TRH-I)

The improved Tray Ration Heater is a versatile mobile field feeding system used

to heat UGR-H&S (Unitized Group Rations-Heat & Serve). The TRH-I, with heat-on-

the-move capability, provides hot meals within minutes of arrival at any remote

location. With optional accessories, the TRH-I can be used to prepare a variety of

fresh foods and commercial boil-in-bag commodities.

This system represents a significant improvement over the original Tray Ration

Heater in two significant ways: Portability and power consumption. The overall

weight has been dramatically reduced by 100 pounds in order to improve

portability. The power consumption has been cut in half, which enables the TRH-I to

operate off-grid, using solar and/or battery power. The TRH-I features single switch

operation and thermostatic control for optimal efficiency.

The TRH-I can be augmented with all the collateral equipment needed to optimize a

mobile field feeding system in any type of environment or terrain.

A quantum leap in field feeding, the Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen

Trailer (DRMKT) represents the perfect marriage between state-of-

the-art closed combustion technology, efficient heat exchange and

appliance design. It is a highly mobile and versatile field feeding

system designed to support virtually any mission to provide mass

care and emergency feeding to first responders and survivors

during domestic and international operations.

The DRMKT overcomes the deficiencies of other mobile field kitchens,

such as open-flame burners, excessive heat and carbon monoxide

exposure. It operates with little noise, has plenty of preparation

space and is ready to operate within 15 minutes of arrival.

The entire DRMKT uses one tenth of the electricity consumed by a

single commercial griddle. All appliances— including griddle, skillet,

two convection ovens, Tray Ration Heater, portable serving lines

and sanitation units—are heated by Airtronic burners in closed

combustion heat exchanger. These systems combine to eliminate noise

and heat contamination while also funneling all combustion exhaust

outside the kitchen. All appliances are insulated and thermostatically

controlled, making them fuel-efficient and safe to use.

BeaverFit Performance Lockers are standard

shipping containers custom-fabricated to anchor

training rigs and provide weather-proof, lockable

storage for all the equipment necessary to create a

world class multi-modality training center.

The lockers serve as an anchor for the rigs so there

is no need to bolt into the ground, enabling you to

truly train anywhere. These lockers are available in

four standard sizes: eight, 10, 20 and 40 feet. They

MEDINA SUNPRO SHELTER

The Medina SunPro mirrors our 50-foot by 40-foot SunPro with the exception of

custom Human Performance rigging that connects the two lockers. This is a great

example of how customizable each shelter solution truly is.

50’ X 40’ SUNPRO SHELTER

BeaverFit’s 50-foot by 40-foot SunPro is a fully customizable human performance

shelter, providing a first-rate training area protecting athletes from the harsh

sun and wet weather. The shelter bridges two 40-foot lockers, creating a covered

and open-ended training area. The two lockers can be a mix of performance, ACFT,

storage or custom lockers.

Customers also have access to a myriad of human performance accessories and

exterior rigging options. The shelter comes in both tan and/or white colors and is

Navy Deep Sea Diver to Navy EOD Operator

Bryant started his career as a Navy Deep Sea

Diver, attending dive school in Virginia Beach,

VA. Just nine of 39 candidates made it through.

“Graduating provided me with a huge bump

in confidence, which was something I needed

at the time,” explained Bryant.

After spending nine years working his way

up to the qualification of Saturation Diver,

he decided to start a new path in the Navy:

Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD).

Navy EOD operators are also divers, so Bryant

was able to bypass dive school, head straight

to the EOD academic portion and continue

on to Army Airborne school at Fort Benning,

since EOD operators are also qualified as Naval

Parachutists.

Bryant spent the next 18 years in EOD as both

an enlisted operator and a commissioned

officer, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander.

While serving, he went through dozens

of military-specific schools, earned his

undergraduate degree and completed two

Masters’ degree programs. His career took

him around the world, including combat

deployments in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

Connecting Active Duty Experience to ADS

ADS’s CWMD team supports EOD and CBRN customers and manages

EOD, CBRN/FES and Maritime suppliers—all the skillsets and

product types Bryant had years of first-hand experience with.

In addition to his subject matter expertise, Bryant brought his

leadership experience to a team at ADS. His first official leadership

role was as a diving supervisor, completing high-risk diving

missions with a team of nine. That number continued to grow,

culminating in serving as an Officer in charge of a 200-person

combat unit, as well as leading 1,100 people during a joint Navy/

Marine Corps exercise.

your career, and there are many parallels between leading in the

Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT)

Preparation goes further than just how much mental

education and combat training you’ve put in. To be fully

ready for whatever mission life throws your way, you

need to physically ready, as physical fitness is the biggest

factor in your ability to accomplish your mission. All

soldiers, regardless of position or rank, must be capable

to deploy and fight.

Focused on transforming the Army’s fitness culture

by reducing preventable injuries and attrition and

enhancing mental toughness and stamina, the newly

created Army Combat Fitness Test is replacing the 39-

year-old Army Physical Fitness Test. This will become the

Army physical test of record no later than October 2020.

Each of the six events highlight fitness components that

can be applied to common soldier tasks, optimizing

The HDT EMI Shelter protects sensitive electronic equipment from the effects of

electromagnetic interference (EMI) and contains the radio frequency interference

(RFI) signals generated by equipment within the shelter. EMI Shelters also reduce

the potentially damaging effects of a high-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP)

and the harmful effects of electrical coupling that can be caused by near strike

lightning (NSL).

BASE-X SHELTERS

HDT’s Base-X® folding frame shelters are durable, lightweight and deploy in 10

minutes or less. They range in size from personal tents to Corps-level complexes.

Base-X shelters support base camp, Command and Control (C2), aircraft and

AIRBEAM RADOME SHELTER

HDT’s AirBeam® RaDome (radar dome) is a weatherproof enclosure that protects a

a range of antenna platforms and prevents irregularities due to weather, wind and

debris. This inflatable dome is constructed of material that minimally attenuates the

electromagnetic signal transmitted or received by the antenna, making the RaDome

virtually transparent to radar or radio waves. The RaDome is designed to deploy with

minimal logistic support and labor while protecting the antenna surfaces from the

environment (e.g., wind, rain, ice, sand and ultraviolet rays) and/or concealing the

antenna electronic equipment from view. The HDT RaDome also acts as a barrier to

protect nearby personnel from being accidentally struck by quickly-rotating antennas.

INTELLIGENT POWER TECHNOLOGY (IPT) TRAILERS

HDT gensets utilize Intelligent Power Technology (IPT), a digital smart system

that links generators in parallel to create a single power grid to optimize power

generation. HDT IPT Trailers provide enough power to meet the immediate needs of

a field facility, reducing unnecessary run-time hours and fuel consumption. All HDT

trailers have been tested at the Aberdeen Test Center.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL UNITS (ECU)

High ambient temperatures can be dangerous to individuals and damaging to

equipment. HDT’s industry-leading Environmental Control Units (ECUs) are available

and aircraft (as well as aviation ground support equipment) regardless of dust,

rain, sand or other harsh conditions.

GENERATOR SUPPORT TRAILERS

HDT’s Generator Support Trailers are integrated support systems that provide

mobility, power and/or environmental control to HDT shelter systems. Conforming

to safe to transport criteria established by the Military Transport Management

Command (MTMC), the trailers are suitable for secondary and unimproved roads

and sealift transportability. Many are also certified for air transport aboard select

military aircraft.


MTH-35 HEATER

Designed for cold weather space heating of command posts or tent shelters, the

HDT MTH35 is a self-powered, liquid fuel burning, ducted convective heater. A

thermoelectric generator supplies power for combustion and air handling. The

heater burns a full range of liquid fuels (DF1, DF2, DFA, JP5 and JP8) for maximum

flexibility, and delivers 300 CFM of clean, heated air. The nominal size and weight

of this unit provide ease of transportation and setup, facilitating rapid deployment

under even the most extreme conditions. The MTH35 can be readily set up outside

the tent using the air ducts provided. An axial fan circulates heated air and remote

controls make it easy to monitor, start, stop and adjust the temperature.

The HDT Digital Video Distribution System (DVDS) controls a wide range of digital and/

or analog sources for quick viewing over multiple monitors or display screens. The

built-in video management system allows the input sources connection to both DVI

and HDMI displays. The DVDS has quint-screen output capability, allows five separate

sources to be displayed on a single screen. The system is neatly packaged in a rugged,

weatherproof case with sturdy grab handles for easy transport. All equipment

necessary to fully support field operations is included, and ancillary equipment items

such as cables, adapters and signal converters are contained in foam padded carriers.

NANO RAPID TACTICAL OPERATIONS CENTER (NRTOC)

The HDT nano Rapid Tactical Operations Center (nRTOC) is an ultra-portable display

system for mobile, front-line operations. This rugged, lightweight, ultra-portable

single-case solution is the ideal platform for battle command software and incident

response applications. The HDT nRTOC supports front and rear projection and can

be set up as a single unit or as multiple displays positioned side-by-side to create

a largescale command and control wall. The HDT nRTOC is one of HDT’s lightest

MOBILE MEDIA WALL

TACTICAL SMART TABLE

Dive and maritime operations incorporate maritime

mobility equipment, including combatant craft, diving

equipment and diver propulsion vehicles designed to

transport and enable specialized operators to defeat

waterborne WMDs and devices.

When ADS started out as Atlantic Diving Supply more

than two decades ago, we outfitted Navy SEALs with the

best wetsuits and diving equipment available. Since then,

we’ve continually grown our relationships with industry-

leading dive manufacturers to ensure our customers

have the best available technology when determining

equipment requirements.

Unmanned Undersea Systems (UUS) contain UUVs

and ROVS designed to remotely—and oftentimes

autonomously—locate high-priority underwater

targets such as submerged Improvised Explosive

Devices (IEDs) or sea mines.

Industry leaders are continually developing more

capable unmanned systems to accomplish a wide variety

of tasks, from discreet reconnaissance to neutralizing

CBRNE threats. Unmanned missions have increased

during the past decade, spurring users to incorporate

unmanned systems into non-traditional facets of

their operations—logistics, maintenance and repair,

and transportation. The DOD is already projecting an

increase in time, resources, strategic initiatives, goals

and planned expenditures related to unmanned systems.

Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and Remotely

Operated Vehicles (ROVs) are utilized to locate, and

identify mines, as well as other unexploded ordnance

over large areas of open water. Deployed AUVs utilize

side-scan SONAR to hunt for suspicious objects. Once a

target is identified, the AUV data is uploaded to an ROV,

which is piloted to the target for positive identification

and inspection via real-time, high-definition video. Semi-

autonomous mine disposal systems are designed to

destroy mines with a built-in, large caliber-shaped charge.

Hydroid’s REMUS 600 UUV is positively buoyant and is designed to

operate to depths of 600 meters. With mission duration capability

of up to 24 hours, the REMUS 600 delivers unprecedented

endurance. Sonar technology is used on these UUVs to capture

images for organic mine countermeasure, hydrographic surveys,

area searches, and surveillance and reconnaissance.

2040 data, giving operators the ability to download

high-resolution images immediately when the vehicle

returns from its mission. Previously, because of

the large file sizes, it could take several hours to

download after a mission is complete.

This solution is ideal for time-sensitive missions like

mine countermeasures, where faster data access

means safer, more efficient operations. Other HISAS

applications include hydrographic surveys, pipeline

inspection and rapid environmental assessment.

Ground Robotics

Unmanned Ground Systems (UGS) enables operators to conduct reconnaissance, render safe or counter-charge

procedures on WMDs remotely using robots. Unmanned ground vehicles have become ubiquitous in a multitude of

roles, whether that’s to lighten the load our Warfighters need to carry, increase their stand-off distance from threats,

provide enhanced situational awareness in various environments or employ convoy leader-follower technology.

The ground-robotics market continues to shift toward systems that allow for unmanned deliveries of cargo while

simultaneously serving as teammates to soldiers in the field, rather than simply as tools.

DRAGON RUNNER 20

Small and lightweight, yet rugged and feature-packed, the Dragon Runner 20

Tactical Combat Casualty Care

TCCC is designed to prevent combat deaths by

teaching trauma stabilization techniques, thus

enabling the wounded to survive transport

to a hospital. These skills include tourniquet

applications, wound packing, airway support

and hemorrhage control, as well as applying

intravenous therapy medications.

The most realistic training solutions include

augmented dummies that look, feel and

respond like a live human. These dummies

simulate combat trauma injuries and

Offering a wide range of options to securely store equipment, uniforms, weapons,

electronics and personal items, Spacesaver’s FreeStyle® Personal Storage

Lockers can be configured and reconfigured to suit any need. Along with interior

configuration options such as internal locking compartments and charging ports,

a number of exterior features enhance comfort and convenience. Pull-out benches

or benches integrated with drawers provide locker room seating without the

wasted space of free-standing benches. Sloped tops maintain a tidy appearance by

PARACHUTE RACK

Cantilever Rack for Parachutes by Spacesaver stores parachutes safely and

securely. The durable, user-friendly Cantilever Rack optimally stores parachutes

out of harm’s way. Combine Cantilever Rack with a Spacesaver high-density mobile

system to achieve the best in asset protection, use of floor space and security.

PARACHUTE BINS

Safety and security is the primary concern for any mission. The Parachute

Container, specially designed with input from para riggers around the world, is a

durable and user-friendly. This optimal storage equipment has a smooth interior

design so the chute isn’t damaged by catch points. It includes a welded bottom that

has forklift access from all sides so users can store the parachute container on

Spacesaver’s ActivRAC® mobilized storage system for the ultimate in convenience

and storage density. It’s stackable—up to three high. The bin can also store an array

of first responder products, both federal and DoD, and is built to last.

ACTIVRAC® MOBILIZED STORAGE SYSTEM

Static shelving wastes as much as 64 percent of available warehouse storage space. Mobilized storage systems eliminate this costly waste and improve productivity. ActivRAC eliminates the need for multiple dedicated aisles of rolling racks, saving space and/or increasing your storage capacity. Simply take your existing warehouse racks and place them on Spacesaver’s carriages and rail system, easily turning them into a mobilized storage system.

MOBILE STORAGE SYSTEM

Regardless of their size, weight or shape, virtually any type and variety of materials can be stored using a mobile storage system. Items can be stored in less floor space, reducing your building lease and construction costs. To help eliminate non-productive space created by fixed aisles, the shelving and cabinets of Spacesaver Mobile Systems are mounted on wheeled carriages that travel on rails. To initiate carriage movement three basic modes of operation are available : Manual, Mechanical Assist and Powered.

option makes for faster donning and doffing. The integrated front and rear plate

RATIS:NEXT-GENERATION SPECIAL OPS LIFE PRESERVERSpecial Operations Forces have long sought a programmable automatic inflator

that allows the user to select the inflation profile of their life preserver units

(LPUs) based on the mission. In addition, existing horse-collar style self-

righting life preserver units are large and bulky, negatively impacting mission

performance. These current LPUs restrict the wearer’s field of vision and head

mobility, create snag hazards and interfere with weapon use.

The Design

The RATIS fits over the shoulders and integrates with a

ballistic vest or can be worn on its own. Mounting clips are

cinched down to a snug fit and connect to a wide range of

vests to suit each operator. The small footprint and flexible

material of the RATIS gives operators freedom to execute the

same actions they would if they weren’t wearing it: climbing

caving ladders, swimming, shouldering a weapon and storing

ammunition on the carrier.

The new LPU utilizes exclusive inflator technology, developed

with long-time partner Hammar®, and is a perfect illustration

of how collaboration best benefits the user community and

drives industry innovation. The inclusion of inflation expert

Hammar® meant providing the operator true mission flexibility

through game-changing programmable inflator technology.

This new system allows the operator to choose whether the

inflation is triggered by depth, time submerged in water

or a combination of both. When compared to current

solutions, this sleek inflatable provides a wider range of

unencumbered head movement and weapons manipulations,

improved visibility and uses minimal real estate on an already

overloaded operator.

When the inflation system is triggered, the 1-pound RATIS

releases a film cell and explodes to over 40 pounds of buoyancy.

This system is capable of floating heavy-load users like snipers

and can surface operators from depth. Buoyancy distribution in

the inflatable cell turns unconscious operators face-up so they

have a clear airway, resolving an issue with current solutions.

Upgrade your original sponsons with the superior fit and long lasting performance

of Wing sponsons. Wing polyurethane has twice the puncture resistance and four

times greater abrasion resistance than Hypalon. The standard expected service

life of a Wing polyurethane tube is seven to eight years—versus only five for a

Hypalon tube—with Wing tubes running stiff, strong and still in service after 12 to 14

is stronger and enjoys two to three times the puncture

resistance of Hypalon and PVC products. Tube seams are

heat welded into a single fabric—not glued—forming a joint

medium loads, each of the P Series boats without speed

tubes achieved the same top-end speed as a competitive
