SUCCESS Warp Pictures is a small British film

company. They only have small budget films and cannot take many chances with bad films. They invest in films that are low budget as there is less money lost if it isn’t a hit. They have to synergise with other British companies to distribute their films.

FOR EXAMPLE Dead mans shoes is a low budget film

that didn’t take too much money to make. This means that there was less of a risk to the profits of the company.

However, recently they have taken a risk with “71’” which shows a young British soldier in Ireland in 1971 being abandoned from his troop and having to fend for himself in the middle of the fighting.

71’ This film is a risk for the company as the

director of this film has never done a full film before. Yann Demange has done a couple of short films and a few T.V Series’ but this is his first full film.

By looking at the box office records I can see that this risk has paid off for the company as the box office results for Britain so far are doing very well
