You have probably seen negative numbers used in many situations.  Below par golf scores, elevations below sea level, temperatures below 0o, and balances of overdrawn bank accounts can all be described with negative numbers.  Zoe and Darnell have different ways of thinking about negative numbers.

Darnell used positive numbers when he thought about negative numbers.  Use Darnell's method to solve the following problems.  Express each number using the fewest negative signs possible.
