SUMMARY Looking back on these past ten weeks, it is hard to ignore the sheer volume of new material I have been introduced to, and I could not be happier about what I am taking away from this Honors Collegium course. From learning about the initial distinction between biotechnology and art to investigating Alan Turing’s influence on

technology today, I am now knowledgeable about a world that I did not even know existed three months ago. I always reflect on my Honors Collegium courses with nostalgia and pride, but this course in particular has made an indelible impression that I will carry with me beyond my undergraduate career. Next year, as I begin my

Master’s in Public Health, I am motivated to apply the concepts I have learned through this course and am determined to fuse biotech + art, and incorporate it into my future classroom endeavors.
