If you’ve ever considered teaching, WVUteach is an exciting program that fits into and complements your four-year bachelor’s degree. With high need areas such as high school science and mathematics, you won’t just be investing in your own future, but the future of others, too.
WVUteach candidates complete a 27-30 credit hour course of study which includes early and frequent classroom experiences prior to their student teaching experience. WVUteach integrates all aspects of teaching into a holistic curriculum. Instructional methods are inquiry-based with an emphasis on active student learning, integrated technology, and project-based instruction.
