OverviewBiomed Online is aimed at employees across the health sector who want to keep abreast of the latest developments in biomedical science, healthcare management and related subjects. The Biomed Online Learning programme is managed by a consortium of:

– University of Greenwich

The MSc in Biomedical Science (Online) consists of four 30 credit Biomed Online courses plus a workplace based project (60 credits). The MSc can be completed over a period of up to six years and is validated by the University of Greenwich and accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science, the leading body for those working in the field.

Workplace-based project Your project typically will be laboratory-based or audit-focused and relevant to your profession and of benefit to your workplace. It normally will include an in-depth review of current literature as well as a critical evaluation of your results and should be of a standard suitable for publication in a scientific journal or equivalent.

You will be supported all the way by a supervisory team which normally includes an expert on the topic from your workplace and an academic supervisor. Together they will guide you through the process of structuring and conducting your research, writing it up and finally submitting it for examination.
