Walpole Cross Keys Primary School Newsletter 6th July 2018 Hello everyone, Last week some of our Year 5/6 pupils undertook their Cycling Test, they all worked really hard to complete the course and they all received a cerficate, well done to you all. Remember everything you have learnt and keep safe. All the children really enjoyed meeng James Nicol, author of The Apprence Witch and A Witch Alone last Tuesday. Hopefully this will inspire a love of reading and wring. Last Wednesday all our children moved up to their new year groups whilst our Year 6 pupils spent the day at St Clements High School. Everybody had a lovely day and our Year 1 and 2 children did a superb job looking aſter the children who will be joining us in recepon from September on their two transion days. Last Thursday some of our Class 2 pupils went to Lynnsport to take part in the St Clements Cluster Ar- ea Sports, see overpage for feedback. Yesterday, all the children enjoyed their day at Amazona Zoo. It was a very hot day so they were lucky to have quite a bit of shade. All the children impressed us with their excellent behaviour. Look out for photos in our next newsleer. As always, if do you have any concerns, in the first instance please speak with your class teacher. Newsletter 6th July 2018

Hello everyone,

Remember everything you have learnt and keep safe. All the children really enjoyed meeting James Nicol, author of The Apprentice Witch and A Witch Alone last Tuesday. Reminders

School Lunches: Please remember to order any school lunches required

for the week by midnight on Sundays (ParentPay) or by 9:00am on Mondays (cash). If you

require login details for ParentPay or have any other queries please speak with the office.

Gymnastics: Please remember we have gymnastics every Friday up to and including 20th

July. PE kits must be in school for this activity.

St Clements Opportunity Day (Year 5—10th July): Have you returned your permission slip

yet? All slips must be in the office by Monday. All children will need to have a home packed

lunch or money for food from the canteen (£3 recommended).

Primary Maths Challenge Day (selected pupils Class 2—12th July): Please ensure your

permission slip is returned to the office by Tuesday. Those attending will need to be in

school for 8:15am for early registration and they will need a home or school packed lunch.

Year 5/6 Performance: If your child is in this performance could you please return the slip

informing us if they are available for the 5pm performance on 17th July by Monday.

Images Consent: There are still a large number of consent forms outstanding. If you have

not returned your form please do so asap. Duplicate forms will be sent out to those who

have not returned them next week.

Help your child to understand that some people lie online therefore it

is better to keep online mates online. They should never meet up

with any strangers without an adult they trust.

On Thursday 28th June some of our Class 2 pupils went to Lynnsport to take part in the St

Clements Cluster Area Sports, they all had a lovely time and lots of gold medals were won:
