Educational aims and objectives

The first London CP meeting aims to start an active discussion forum amongst clinicians interested in the musculo-skeletal care of patients with cerebral palsy (CP). This is firmly rooted in a multidisciplinary approach involving paediatricians, orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists and allied specialists in order to improve and standardise the care of CP patients. Specific topics discussed will be the transition of patients from paediatric to adult care, and the possibility of setting up a London wide network for the orthopaedic care of all patients with cerebral palsy.

This meeting is aimed at community paediatricians, paediatricians, orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
