The 2005 Puget Sound Heart Walk is a huge success! Underthe leadership of Bill Lewis, Heart Walk Chair, and Michael

Longo, MD, Heart Walk Medical Chair, the Puget Sound HeartWalk has raised over $2 million! This made the Puget SoundHeart Walk not only the largest walk in the state, but quitepossibly the largest Heart Walk in the nation! More than 10,000walkers participated in this incredible event at Qwest Field to show their support for the fight against heart disease and stroke.

Washington Mutual remained one of the top fundraisingcompanies in the country, raising more than $335,000.Medtronic Emergency Response Systems and HorizonHouse/Lease Crutcher Lewis both broke the $100,000 mark, andfive additional companies each raised over $50,000.
