The IWWF is honoured that Wakeboard has been shortlisted as one of eight sports to be considered

for inclusion in the 2020 Olympic Games. With this brochure we hope to show you the comple-tely different appeal which Wakeboard at the Cable

could bring to the Games. As a youthful and exciting event it would certainly add a totally new spectacular dimension to the

Olympic Games which we believe will capture the imagination of the spectators, sponsors and the Media. Thank you for taking the time to

Regular World and Continental Championships are sta-ged for Open and Youth categories including both Men and Women - organized by the IWWF Divisional Coun-cils for all Disciplines with Special Commissions for Athletes, Development, Anti-Doping, Environment, Mar-keting & Media, Medical & Safety, University Sport, Wo-men & Sport and the World Cup series.

JUDGING / SCORINGJUGEMENT / CALCULS A head judge and six judges Freeride format, subjective judging, no predetermined points for tricks In each round riders have two runs (passes), only the best out of two runs is scored

Runs consist of combination of inverts, grabs, rotational tricks, and obstacles; riders may perform any tricks in any order they wish Points are based on technical performance and impression, with a single combined score from 0 -100 from each judge Seven scores, the highest and the lowest score are removed, average final score
