WAGOLLUsing the parable of the cuppa’

P – The moral of my parable is that it is better to offer help first, before having to be asked.

E – For example, in the parable Libby only helps when her mum comes and asks her, whereas Lucy is more considerate and notices that her mum is tired and therefore offers to help out.

E – This is an important moral because we can learn to stop and put others first, before ourselves, especially our family.

Why do you think Moses is seen as a leader in Judaism?WAGOLL

P – Moses is seen as a leader in the religion of Judaism.

E – For example, when the Hebrews were slaves in Egypt, Moses led them to freedom.

E – Therefore, I think he is a leader because in Judaism it is believed that Jews are the descendants of Hebrew slaves.

(10 mins)

P – Some people are pro-choice. This means that they believe that abortion is an option.

E – For example, they may think that a woman’s body is her own.

E – Therefore, they will think abortion is acceptable because the woman should be able to choose what happens to her own body.
