Situated on one of Nebraska’s most prestigious golf courses, Wilderness Ridge offers the ideal setting and atmosphere for your one of a kind wedding.

Whether you are looking to have an intimate wedding dinner or planning on going all out with a show-stopping affair, Wilderness Ridge has all of the amenities to accommodate your vision. With private rooms ranging from 10 to 275, our experienced sales managers are available to help you turn your wedding vision into a reality on your special day.

Wedding IslandOur Wedding Island is situated on the first hole of our Executive Course and is a picture-perfect setting for your ceremony. After a walk down a stone path highlighted with blooming flower beds, your guests will be seated and waiting for you under a sprawling elm tree. Breathe in the beauty of nature as you say your vows while overlooking one of our many beautiful lakes on the property.

Our Wedding Island site includes set up and break down of up to 200

white wedding chairs (additional chairs may be rented), gift table,

unity candle table, and table for your own sound system.

(electrical outlet is situated on island for your convenience)

Your Sales Manager will serve as your personal wedding consultant and provide complete wedding coordination for every detail of your wedding including: offering suggestions regarding music, décor, and photography, coordinate with all wedding vendors, and implement timeline of reception from introduction of the bride and groom to cake cutting, and ensuring that every last detail is attended to, for the most memorable event of your lifetime.

Menu and DetailsMenus and event details are due to your Sales Manager no later than thirty (30) days prior to your reception. Should you need additional menu options, we are happy to customize a special menu for your particular event.

All food and beverage items served at Wilderness Ridge must be provided through the Wilderness Ridge Catering Department or Restaurants. All food and beverage may be purchased through the facility.

Upon approval of your Sales Manager, the only outside food and beverage permitted on the premise is as follows: wedding cake, wedding mints, nuts, and edible favors placed on the dining tables.

Food & alcohol menu prices will be guaranteed 60 days prior to the function.

Food selections may not be changed inside of seven (7) days prior to the function without chef approval.

All food items may be served or displayed for a maximum of two (2) hours. Due to health regulations, at the conclusion of a function, all left over food is the property of Wilderness Ridge and may not be removed from the premises.

In choosing a plated dinner, you are allowed to choose up to two entrées for your guests to choose from. A detailed seating chart with your guests’ selections will need to be turned in seven (7) days prior to your reception. Differentiated place cards must be created for service staff to determine meal entrées for your guests.

Our chefs can accommodate special dietary request with ample advance notice.

ChargesA service charge and NE State sales tax will be added to all catered events at Wilderness Ridge. Current service charge and tax rates are: Service Charge 20%, NE Sales Tax is 7.00%, Occupation Tax 2.00%. Rates are subject to change without notice.

All food and beverage minimums are prior to tax and service fee. If the minimum is not met, the remainder will be charged as room rental only.

Hors d’oeuvres/Appetizer ReceptionsThis is not your mother’s idea of a typical wedding reception. If you envision your guests up and mingling and ready to enjoy the party, then this is a great direction to go. From cold to hot appetizers that can be passed or placed on a buffet, the appetizer reception allows your guests to try a variety of food without the formality of a plated meal or being released to a buffet line.

Action Stations/BarsWant to turn the food into part of the entertainment for the evening? From manned bars to build your own stations, the hottest trend growing in the industry right now is to make the food at your reception interactive. Not only is it a conversation piece to get guests talking, it allows your friends and family to create a dish that is unique to them.

Cuisine Style Options BuffetsWant to provide a traditional full meal for your guests, but can’t decide how to please everyone? Then go for a traditional or family-style buffet. This allows guest to fill themselves up on a multitude of choices that even a picky eater can navigate! And with a buffet there is no need to worry about place cards or assigned seating.

PlatedFor a traditional and more elegant atmosphere, consider one of our plated sit-down dinners with a formal menu. In this instance, you may choose to offer your guests two entrées or simplify and please everyone with a more common dual entrée, prepared with the utmost care and attention.

Hors d’oeuvres/Appetizers For pre-dinner appetizers, we recommend providing your guests with 3-4 items. Depending on the capacity of your room, appetizers can be butler passed or set up on display. For full appetizer receptions, it is customary to provide your guests with 12-15 i tems per person. A combination of passed and tabled appetizers is recommended. Incorporating action stations into the mix can create a variety of areas for your guests to visit and reduce the typical line of a buffet.

For a sit down dinner, the wait staff will serve your guests at the table. Select up to two entrées for your guests to choose from. A detailed seating chart with your guest’s selection will need to be turned in one week in advance of your reception.

The Cake TableBrides today are branching out from the traditional wedding cake, mints and nuts and choosing to either forgo the wedding cake all together or want to add their childhood favorites and/or unique and customized bite-sized desserts in the quest to amp up the typical cake table!

These add-on desserts are priced per person. The pastry chef is always

willing to create a unique or special dessert for you upon request.

Wilderness Ridge does allow the traditional wedding cake, mints, and

Late Night

Want to keep the party going all night long? Entice your guests to keep on dancing and having a good time by revitalizing them with a late night snack just like when you were a kid!

Late night snacks are typically brought out at 10:00pm and must be finished by 11:30pm. All stations/bars have a minimum of 50 guests. Bars require a chef attendant fee of $50 per 100 people. “Spirits” Beverage Stations prices vary based on guest count

Mimosa Station (set up fee of $100), champagne is charged per consumption.

Self-served in champagne glasses, the mimosa station includes orange

and mango juices and a raspberry syrup. Fruit mix-ins are available for

the guests to add to their beverages.

Bloody Mary Station (set up fee of $100), $7 per drink

Includes traditional and spicy bloody mary mixes, a variety of salts,

pickles, peppers, celery, olives and tabascos. Served with our house
