October 8, 2017 - 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time “The stone the builders rejected has become the corner stone…” - MATTHEW 21:42

Jesus was the corner stone and He was rejected by the religious and political leaders of his day, as well as ordinary citizens. Living a stewardship lifestyle may cause you to be “rejected” by others in today’s society. For example, saying grace before a meal in a restaurant may attract some strange looks from some. But to others it is sign that God is alive and well!

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process whereby adults enter the Catholic Church. If

you are interested in taking these classes call Bob Rubel at 208-309-2605. Classes will start on October 12th

at 7:00pm in the Parish House. Those who attend the RCIA classes are educated on what the Catholic Church

believes and are given the opportunity to ask question about those beliefs.

La Alianza de inmigración de Idaho y sus organizadores están planeando un gran evento aquí en la Iglesia de San Carlos, para ayudar a las familias del valle a prepararse cuando se presentan problemas de Inmigración. El día viernes 27 de octubre de las 6-9 de la noche estará la abogada María Andrade y sus abogados de Boise ayudando a las familias a llenar documentos y contestar preguntas sobre los casos de deportación o cuando una persona está en detención. Para este día no se necesita hacer ninguna cita, solo debe asistir e informarse. El sábado 28 de octubre a partir de las 9 de la mañana se estará ayudando a todas las personas que quieran aplicar para la ciudadanía.
