We have come to the end of a very busy term that has brought many new and different learning experiences. Congratulations to all of our students for undertaking an innovative style of learning with Learning from Home and Google Classroom. They adapted to different ways of completing and presenting work and interacting with their classmates. It has been wonderful to see the creativity of students and parents/carers in the work that has been submitted.

Congratulations to all of our parents and carers for undertaking new challenges with learning and teaching. We are very thankful to you for your efforts in supporting us to make the transition between home and school as smooth as possible. We hope you can all enjoy a well-earned rest over the next two weeks.

School finishes for Term 2 this Friday (3rd July). Term 3 will commence with a Staff Development Day on Monday 20th July

In Term 3 we will continue the current pick up and drop off arrangements until further notice. School Reports School reports will be issued tomorrow.

Super Superkids Our Super Superkid Assembly will be filmed this week and uploaded to Google Classroom on Friday afternoon. Bronze and Silver Awards Congratulations to all of our Bronze Award achievers this term. These children have maintained the expectations of being safe, respectful learners at school and their efforts are valued by all of the children and staff. Many of our students are now working toward the achievement of their Silver Award with continued focus on their learning and safe and respectful behaviour. Education Week Our annual HYPE festival has been cancelled this year we are currently planning for our Virtual Education Week activities. We look forward to sharing our learning with you via Google Classroom. Banking School banking will start again on Thursday 23rd July Term 3. Child Protection

During Term 3, our students will be involved in the mandatory Child Protection units.

Curriculum materials have been produced to help us teach a balanced program of lessons from three themes:

Recognising abuse, where students will develop knowledge and skills, appropriate to their age, about safe and unsafe situations.

Power in relationships, where particular attention will be given to building confidence in relationships which are positive and caring.

Protective strategies, where students will learn about appropriate actions and safety strategies to use in threatening situations, such as NO GO TELL and networks.
