Answer: You can begin typing the current date, and the auto complete function will display the date on the screen, click Enter to insert it.
Type ALT+SHIFT+D to automatically enter the date in MM/DD/YY format.

typing a business letter in GDP, always follow the instructions found in your textbook.
While the Word Manual is very helpful in looking at examples of business documents, if there is a difference between the manual and the instructions in your textbook, always defer to the textbook.
