In November 2012, a team of 46 volunteers brought medical care to the impoverished people of the Dominican Republic. The hospital was located in La Ramona, D. R.

We performed over 350 procedures ranging from ear tubes, hernia repairs, gallbladder removal and vein care

With the exception of one person, every patient had open sores and ulcers to their lower leg

This is the first recorded use of laser therapy, in a hospital, for leg veins in the Dominican Republic
