Care & Cleaning• Beforeyouliftorrepositionyourmonitor,itisbettertodisconnectthe

cablesandpowercord.Followthecorrectliftingtechniqueswhenpositioningthemonitor.Whenliftingorcarryingthemonitor,grasptheedgesofthemonitor.Donotliftthedisplaybythestandorthecord.

• Cleaning.Turnyourmonitoroffandunplugthepowercord.Cleanthemonitorsurfacewithalint-free,non-abrasivecloth.Stubbornstainsmayberemovedwithaclothdampenedwithmildcleaner.

• Avoidusingacleanercontainingalcoholoracetone.UseacleanerintendedforusewiththeLCD.Neverspraycleanerdirectlyonthescreen,asitmaydripinsidethemonitorandcauseanelectricshock.

The following symptoms are normal with the monitor:• Thescreenmayflickerduringtheinitialuseduetothenatureofthe

fluorescentlight.TurnoffthePowerSwitchandturnitonagaintomakesurethattheflickerdisappears.

• Youmayfindslightlyunevenbrightnessonthescreendependingonthedesktoppatternyouuse.

• Whenthesameimageisdisplayedforhours,anafterimageofthepreviousscreenmayremainafterswitchingtheimage.ThescreenwillrecoverslowlyoryoucanturnoffthePowerSwitchforhours.

• Whenthescreenbecomesblackorflashes,orcannotworkanymore,contactyourdealerorservicecentertofixit.Donotrepairthescreenbyyourself!

ThedetachablestandoftheLCDmonitorisspeciallydesignedforVESAwallmount.

To detach the arm/stand:

1. Disconnectpowerandsignalcables.Carefullyputthefrontofthemonitorfacedownonacleantable.

2. Useyourfingertoloosenthescrewlocatedatthebottomofthebase,andremovethebasefromthestand.Andthenremovethehingecoverfrommonitorbodybyusingyourfingers.

3. Useascrewdrivertoremovethefourscrewsonthearm,andthendetachthearm/standfromthemonitor.

• Werecommendthatyoucoverthetablesurfacewithsoftclothtopreventdamagetothemonitor.

• Holdthestandofthemonitorwhileremovingthescrews.
