The concept and development of the economic system; the enterprise and other business entities (concept and types of enterprises; special types of enterprises and sports organizations). Investments in reproduction (engagement of funds - assets: fixed, working, non-business assets; sources of funds). Company and market (market demand; company income; market structure, competition analysis); productivity; costs and cost-cutting; profit and profitability.Practical classes: Defining companies and sports organizations, the purpose of their existence and division; calculating the business results of a sports organization: income, costs (fixed, variable, total), and indicators of cost-cutting and profitability. MARKOV ČIKIĆ, PhDCourse status: CompulsoryECTS Credits: 6Entry requirements: NoneCourse Aims: For students to perceive sport as a significant social activity; to acquire basic knowledge on theoretical and practical

issues of sociology of sport; to understand the importance and role of the sociological approach in understanding sports as a complex and specific social phenomenon; to understand sport as a subsystem within local and global social systems;

To observe the basic characteristics of sport through a sociological analysis, to perceive social factors and social processes that decisively influence the functioning of sport, its development and its real role in society through the analysis of relations and events in sport;

To understand the connection of sport with politics, economics, education, the legal system; To note and understand the appearance of socially unacceptable patterns of behavior in and around sports, such as

behaviors that reflect racial, ethical, gender, age, and other prejudices; to recognize and understand the mechanisms that lead to conflicts, abuses, human rights violations, incitement to social discrimination, mass, group and individual violence in and around sport.

Course outcomes: For students to appreciate equally the value-acculturation and applied functions of the sociology of sport; to have basic

information about sociological aspects of sport as a social phenomenon, to know how to use a sociological description (concept and classification), to have the knowledge necessary for sociological perception and understanding of phenomena in sport;

To appreciate, understand sociological factors that affect a sports organization, team and individuals and to contribute to their further development and improvement through processes, development and socialization;

To note, understand and preventively influence the occurrence of unfavorable social processes in the sports organization, which are an expression of class, racial, or ethnic differences and prejudices based on these differences;

To be able to establish constructive cooperation with the mass media, to emphasize through the media the socializing function of sport, especially its preventive potentials in relation to the occurrence of delinquency and other deviant phenomena among young people;

To understand the role and importance of sports spectators, their influence on the team and individuals, to be able to communicate with fan groups, to base that communication on a plan that affects the behavior of fan groups.

Course contentTheoretical classes: Sociological definition and classification of sports; sports, society, culture; the phenomenon of sports spectators; sport as a reflection of culture and society; sports, education and youth; work, sports and play; social functions and dimensions of sport; sports and economics; organizing in sports. Organizations in sports, structures in organizations in sports; sports and mass media; sport as an area of resistance and conflict; sport as a factor of social (in) equality; sport - collective, mass behavior and social movement.Practical classes are carried out via the participation of students in projects, exercises and presentations.Bibliography1/ Koković, D. Teaching Methods: Lectures include several forms of plenary work: presentation on planned topics, presentations of sociological analyzes of certain phenomena in sports, comparative analyzes of phenomena in certain environments and abroad, individual and group presentations of students of certain thematic parts, presentation of seminar papers, interactive relations in order to master the study program. Practical classes include the following activites: working in small groups, organizing workshops that address current issues of modern sports from a sociological aspect.

Teaching Methods:Classes include several forms of plenary work. Most of the time they involve the lecturer's presentation on topics from the syllabus. Some 6 hours is intended for engaging students through various presentations of term papers on given topics, which primarily represent presentations of the results of modern research in the field of sports informatics and statistics in sports.Practice include the following activities: work in small groups with which practical work is performed on the use of information and communication technologies in order to find, store and process sports information, as well as preparation for electronic tests.

Teaching Methods: The course is held during one semester in the third year of study. Once a week, two classes are held, at which the lecturer, in addition to the lecture, organizes a discussion on the topic that is covered in class. The course consists of two parts, general and special. The general part also consists of two parts: the first part deals with the definition of morality, and the second with ethical theories and the basic issues of metaethics. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on examples that demonstrate the application of the moral criterion to sports practices and practices. The special part directly refers to moral issues that arise in sports: the concepts of competition, victory, fair play, sports honesty, sports excellence and sports integrity, self-improvement, misdemeanors and violence in sports, status and types of punishment, discrimination, doping, commercialization and similar issues that are faced in the moral evaluation of sports.
