“Vozdukh” project is an experimental project, which involves dance improvisation, modern plastic theater and playback theater.

The project’s performances include elements of dance improvisation and spontaneous creation of the viewers’ stories. Stories come to life on stage in real time in the shape of phys ical per fo rmance and mus ical improvisation.

Every performance is completely new. There are no scripts or words. This is about movement in our lives and living in motion, about sincerity of the body and showing our emotions through it.

About project

The project started in January 2015, when 8 members of different theatrical and dance groups came together to focus on freedom of movement and attention to the body. The members do not limit themselves to a specific theatrical approach or style of dance. “We are not dancers or actors, we move and live through every viewer ’s story”.

œVozdukh” numerically 11 actors (accredited international trainers and actors of Playback-theater, participants of contemporary dance projects, actors and directors of theater and cinema) 4 musicians 1 photographer, sequential shooting

The project ’s performances include the connection of plastic improvisation with real life. Personal stories, which can be emotions, memories, occasions, dreams, experience and opinions about certain issues, all of these elements become live on stage in the form of plastic improvisation.

Idea

The theme of each performance is connec ted w i t h s i g n i f i can t and recognizable topics, experiences, feelings. Wherein each story has a right to be told and presented on the stage. It can appear in new shape, be understood in another way or simply live again.

We invite everyone to meet the plastic theater, and see the physical performance, based on personal stories, and share the one you want to tell.

In order to realize the performance of the «Vozdukh» project is necessary:

๏ duration of the performance: 3 hours (including rehearsals)
