BARCELONA, Apr 15, 2009 / FW/ — Txell Miras graduated in 1999 with a degree in fine arts from the University of Barcelona. In 2000, she studied fashion design at the Llotja School of Art and Design in Barcelona.

One year later, she won the Insideouting contest organized by the Domus Academy in Milan. In 2002, she was a finalist at the Tokyo Grand Prix Fashion Awards, and won the Italian Chamber of Fashion award for most promising young designer. Other awards include the Lancôme award for best young designer at Barcelona Fashion Week and the 2005 Barcelona és Moda award for best fashion professional. She was a finalist at the 2006 El Botón-Mango Fashion Awards and the 2007 Gen Art Style New York Fashion Awards. She has been creating the Neil Barrett women’s collection since 2003, and has had her own label since 2004.

Dangerous elegance…

n though the year isn’t over, most of 20 ds have come be to defined. As such, we ady get a good feel for some of the elem we’ll carry through into next year.

Simple dress. If you have got tired of multiple details this trend is for you. Simple designs with no frills, sequins, bows and ribbons look beautiful, but if you choose to wear them opt for noticable accessories like red hat, chunky jewelry or extraordinary shoes.

Printed dress. Prints are popular as never before. Mostly these are tiny polca dots, flowers, stripes, strawberries, etc.

Animal prints are all over the place this season, and we know you ladies are on the prowl for the perfect piece.
