VONBRAUNLABS is an institute for advanced researchs

working with private companies and the Governments,

developing systems projects and providing inovation

services at hardware, firmware and software levels.

MICROELECTRONICS

VONBRAUNLABS Microelectronics Group is composed

of skilled Chip Designers, working in the complete flow

of Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuits development, with

access to powerful design tools, computer network,

prototyping and testing labs, silicon foundries and

service providers, besides the integration with other

VONBRAUNLABS groups.

We acts as a Design House (DH) for industries,

corporations and government agencies, providing

the development of custom integrated circuits (ICs),

specially with ultra-low energy consumption, for

diverse types of systems and applications in the

consumer, automotive, industrial and medical

markets. But differently than a traditional DH, we are

capable of transforming customers’ needs into final

products, offering complete systems ready at the

production phase, with hardware, software, testing

and application solutions.

Some of our IP blocks: RF modulators and demodulators,

high efficiency charge-pumps, ultra-low power oscillators,

data encoders and decoders for various coding formats,

CAPABILITIES AND PRACTICES

VONBRAUNLABS develops ultra-low power ASICs

(Application-Specific IC) for various markets,

performing IC evaluation and testing, developing

prototypes using FPGAs, microcontrollers and

MPWs (multi-project-wafers).

To guarantee the final ASICs behavior and a fast

project to market time, we also perform

functional verification using professional tools and

proprietary methodologies, develop test

plataforms for validation and final production

testing.

A Fabless operation means a company producing own

goods in an industrial scale without having production

equipment neither dealing with many suppliers and

manufacturers. The fabless company has control of

products costs, volumes, quality and margins in an asset-

light and transparent way, allowing access to markets

which normally just large industries would reach.
