XC70 is perfectly at home on any terrain – and with the help of

D5The D5 2.4 litre, turbocharged, in-line, 5 cylinder, common rail diesel

engine delivers very low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions

with excellent performance – producing 185 PS and 400 Nm

torque. This advanced design combined with third-generation

electronic common rail fuel injection, variable blade turbocharger

and a diesel particulate filter, makes it one of the cleanest and

most advanced diesel engines available on the market.

AWD WITH INSTANT TRACTION™The electronically controlled AWD (All Wheel Drive) system with

Instant Traction™ automatically distributes drive between the front
