Education has playing the key role in
disaster risk reduction. By giving a
education about disaster to people who
are living at the river bank it’s one aspect
to do restoration in environmental aspect
through education about disaster.
Volunteering activities at river is possible
to sharing and updating knowledge in
disaster risk reduction with several
multistakeholder (government,
corporation, and scientist)
Training and simulation about disaster
related with activities at the river such as
floods, to give people how to do
mitigation, and how to be applied in the
real life.

• Srikandi Sungai Indonesia (Indonesia Women River ) initiate some activities in community empowerment such as Recycling Garbage, Economic Creative activities to improve economy people who live at the river bank
• Improving health quality through immunization for kids and education for women at the river bank.
• Using resources from its river to make economy creative product such as handcraft, souvenirs.
• Initiating organic farm in small area to improve agriculture product which can be fulfil needs of people

CONCLUSION
1. Model empowerment and partnership in river restoration in Klaten Regency
has been successful applied through Triple C (Coordination, Commitment,
and Consistent).
2. Implementing new method (CREAM) for improving human and
environmental living is efficiency and optimal impact in reducing disaster
risk reduction through community approach and partnership.
3. Increasing live quality, health, livelihood through creative economy and
awareness in disaster risk reduction through training, community education
and partnership.
