Fish Tanks! You have just been employed at Pets-R-Us, and unfortunately, your first customer is your maths teacher.I need a fish tank – simple.I do however, have specific requirements.1) I don’t want my water bill to go up, so I only have a set amount of water that I can

afford to have in the tank to fill it up.2) I want it to be big enough to fit in as many tropical fish as possible, at least 15 of

them.3) I want something that looks exciting and not just a boring cuboid shaped one; if the

tank is cuboid shaped – I want it to have something attached to it to make it look nicer.

4) I can afford to spend up to £250, but that includes the fish, the tank, and the accessories for the bottom of the tank.

You can work with another colleague, providing they share their desk with you at work. However, that means you have to split the commission.

Who has picked me a good enough fish tank?

I’ve changed my mind...

I’ve decided, I don’t want a fish tank that already exists, I want you to make me one, so that I will have a unique fish tank. I still have all the same requirements, apart from the fact I can have one that holds any amount of water now, due to a really good deal on my water bill. I need to know how much it will hold though, so that I can inform the water board.

A few ideas...

You have on your desks, a price lists of the different materials you could use to design my fish tank. This project needs to be worked on by yourself.

Remember: I need to know;a) The Price of it allb) How many fish it will holdc) How much water will be in it.

Warning! I will be asking a few of you to share your designs with me and the rest of your colleagues.

After all that...

So, after all that, and as good as those designs were, I have changed my mind again. I was shopping around, and found a fish tank that I loved, that is simple, elegant and really reflects my personality.. What do you think?
