On 6th October,2018 the finishing

school of MACET has organized a

seminar on career option after

engineering and how to crack

GATE,ESE & PSUs in first

attempt. The expert Mr. Jitendra

tiwari a national memory record

holder “ LIMCA BOOK OF

RECORDS” from MADE EASY

Education Pvt. Ltd, interacted

with the students.

Mr. Tiwari discussed about the

pattern of GATE & ESE. He

explained the different

strategies to crack the

competitive exams. He also

discussed how to increase

memory power and

management of the time during

exam. At last he advised the

students to determine toward

their goals and make strategies

to achieve that goal.

AND PATENT FILING (IPRPF-

2018)

About the Event- A One day

workshop was organized on 1st

December,2018 at Hotel

chanakya by Aryabhatta

Knowledge University (AKU)

sponsored by TEQIP-III on “

Intellectual Property Rights and

Patent filing” (IPRPF-2018). The

participants on behalf of MACET,

PATNA were as follows.

The Workshop was inaugurated

by PRO –VC PROF S.M.KARIM, AKU

PATNA by lighting the lamp and

followed by a motivational talk.

Afterward a welcome note was

given by the AKU Offical. The

resource persons were Dr.

Parikshit Bansal, Ex-sr. scientist

& Mrs. Kompal Bansal, CEO, CIPC.

Both of them were highly

energetic and skillful person

especially Dr. Bansal who was

just outstanding during his

interaction with the participants.

The workshop was extremely

good and informative. Basically

they explained in detail the right

of Intellectual people and how

one can protect his/her

intellectual thoughts and things

through patenting. Mr. Bansal

has exhibited various patentable

items having innovative ideas

and design which encouraged us

to think something serious about

patenting. He also exhibited some

Other things which can be protected

through Trade-marks, geographical

indications, industrial designs and

copy rights. Later on Mr. Bansal also

shared the information related to

start-up program (an initiative of

Govt. of India) and incubation

centre. Mrs. Kompal Bansal

explained in detail about the patent

filing in which she highlighted some

very remarkable point of patent

filing for a new person especially

who is having a technical

background and having no idea

about patent filing. Over all the

session was very interactive and

fruitful. It has triggered a new

thinking process among all the

participants. They have also

entertained all the queries related to

the IPR and patent filing from all the

participants throughout the session.

Participants have got benefited after

practicing hands-on through Google

patent apps. Feedback forms have

also been collected from all the

participants by the resource person.

Vote of thanks has been given by the

convener of the workshop Dr.

Shantanu wahal. Mr. Shantanu has

promised such type of workshop will

be conducted again in near futute by

AKU, PATNA. He also requested to all

the participants to organize a

seminar based on IPR and patent

filing in their college premises for

the benefit of students and making

them aware of IPR and patent filing.

Event: - PRESENTATION ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS AND PATENT

FILINGS IN SEMINAR HALL

About the Event- One-day presentation was organized on 8th December

2018 at 2:30 PM. The combined presentation was held at Seminar Hall

MACET, PATNA. Prof (Dr.) Asim Kumar presided over the presentation by

introducing the topic in brief. The HODs of Civil Engineering, Computer

Science engineering, and Science & Humanities were also present on that

occasion. Dr. Muhammad Rafiq Abuturab led the power point presentation

on IPR through his slides followed by Mr. Ozair Ahmad. The presentation

concluded by a question-answer session in which all the participants took

part.

Event: INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH DR.A.S.NAKADAR (FOUNDER TRUSTEE OF

AFMI)

About the Event: - On 20th December 2018, MACET has organized an

interactive programme with AFMI founder, Dr. A.S.Nakadar. The programme

was started with Tilawate Quran Pak. Dr. Khwaja Mohd. Rafi (Director of

MACET) welcomed the guest and gave a brief introduction of college. After

that Dr. Ahmad Abdul Hai gave detail introduction of Dr.A.S.Nakadar and his

mission. Dr.A.S.Nakadar told the importance of study and goal. He encouraged

being successful not being a failure.

At last Dr. S.S. Mashhadi has given vote of thanks at the core of heart and also

requested him for an auditorium in college premises. The programme was

ended with National Anthem.

➢ Prof (Dr) Md. Masood Ahmad presented a paper titled

“Recent Developments on Tidal Energy: An Overview” in

International Conference Hydro 2018 held at NIT Patna on

19th & 20th December, 2018.
