Trapped in the Sky Two Weeks Later Teenage League Headquarters, Vauxhall...

(Aaron is manning command and control) Aaron: Everything is a-ok Scott! Scott: Good! Its been a while since the guys had a holiday, I dont want anything to ruin it for them! Aaron: I havent been on holiday in ages! Scott: You go to Japan every two months! Aaron: Thats because my girlfriend is there! (Sean walks into command and control) Sean: You two arguing again! Scott: We are not arguing We are debating! Aaron: Haha yes! Debating! (A light flashes on the console panel)

(Aaron presses the blue button) Aaron: Ah! Just got a text from Mark! It says Just boarding now! Cant actually believe we are going on a holiday for once! Dad still cannot get used to the fact Edward is bringing Charlie, will text you when we have landed in New York! (Sean laughs) Sean: Im sure that that the hotel will have two separate rooms for them! Scott: My understanding is that Charlie and Monica are sharing a room, James and Edward are sharing a room, Mark has his own room and the parents have theirs! (Aaron whistles) Aaron: In New York! Thats gonna cost a lot of dollars! Scott: Well fortunately Marks dad can afford it being a stockbroker! Aaron: Indeed so! (Sean looks around) Sean: Its been pretty quiet today! Aaron: It has been, all of the incidents do not require us to get involved! Sean: Well lets hope it stays that way! If anyone needs me! Ill be in the gym! Scott: Ill join you! Sean: Alright! See you in a bit Aaron! (Aaron waves) Aaron: Yeah, See ya! (Aaron starts to hum and type on the keyboard) (Tanya, Zara and Takuma walk into base) Identity scans complete Welcome Tanya Alexander Dennis, Zara Harpenden, Takuma Aguri (Takuma walks into command and control) (Aaron spots Takuma) Aaron: Youre a lifesaver! I need to go toilet can you cover me for five minutes! Takuma: No problem (Aaron takes off his headset and hands it to Takuma)

hours later

[On the plane to New York] (James is sitting by the window) James: The only problem with an Aeroplane I find is the seats! You have to sit in a short space for a long time! Edward: Well we are nearly across the Atlantic, we should be in New York in about half an hour! (James groans) James: I could have been there in at least forty five minutes straight! Edward: Remember we are civilians for this trip James! (Charlie turns around and peaks over her seat) Charlie: Hes right James! Just relax and get into the holiday mood! (Edward taps James) (James looks at Edward) James: Whats up! Edward: I said I wasnt going to use my powers on this trip, this however was out of my control! James: What do you mean? Edward: I just heard the pilot, the plane has lost all navigation and radio contact with New York! James: This is serious! Without (he lowers his voice) Air Traffic Control, we will not have any idea of how heavy the traffic is, we could collide mid-air with another aircraft! (Edward looks at James) Edward: We cant do anything! Our cover cannot be blown! James: We need to alert the guys! (He twists the dial on his watch counter clockwise) (The watch starts to tick) Edward: We need to alert Mark what is going on! (Edward gets tapped from Behind) Monica: What are you two getting so animated about!

Edward: Nothing, trust me its nothing! James: Its ok Monica, nothing is up! (Monica shakes her head) Monica: You two are terrible liars! [Back at Teenage League Headquarters] 2 Minutes Later - In the Lounge

(Takuma and Samantha are on the sofa kissing) Takuma: We really shouldnt be rubbing Harmonys nose in it! Samantha: I dont really care what she thinks or says! The simple fact or the matter is this! I like you and if she has a problem with that then tough! (Aaron walks into the lounge) Aaron: Look at you two getting all cozy! RED ALERT! RED ALERT! RED ALERT! RED ALERT! RED ALERT!

(The speakers crackle in the lounge) Guys, Im getting reports of a city wide power cut in New York City. Lighting is down, the Subway has stopped with many people trapped underground and in between stations! (Aaron lifts his watch to his mouth) (It flashes orange) Aaron: Thanks Zara, were on our way! Also Air Traffic Control is down at LaGuardia, Newark and JFK! Hang on! I am receiving our emergency distress signal! Its from James! Mark and the boys will be landing in New York shortly!! The skies will be full of traffic! Im with Sean well be at the pods in thirty seconds!! We need to get our skates on otherwise the boys will have to break their cover (Aaron lifts his watch to his mouth) Aaron: Ok, Scott! See you there!! Let us know if anything changes Zara! Will do! Over and Out (The speakers crackle) [On the plane] (James and Edward are concentrating) James: The Pilot is trying to make contact again! IN THE COCKPIT. Pilot: New York Approach! This is Speedbird 117, on approach how do you hear? (Radio silence) Approach do you copy?! Co-Pilot: Radio is working, its not us!

Pilot: Tower, were experiencing some sort of electrical disturbance! Instruments are going haywire! Radar is down! Were flying blind out here do you copy? Tower, Repeat we are standby only! What is happening! Do you copy? BACK WITH JAMES AND EDWARD James: Still no response! Edward: This is serious now! We are in cloud cover! With no nav! For all we know we could have a mid-air collision! James: We are literally trapped in the sky! Edward: Lets just hope the boys have got our signal! [At New York Approach ATC] Air Traffic Controller: Sir, there are two inbound flights on intersecting paths! Chief Controller: Time the impact! Air Traffic Controller: Four and a half minutes! Chief Controller: Clock it! Right Now! (He starts the stopwatch) (It ticks) [Back at Teenage League HeadquartersVauxhall] (Sean, Scott and Aaron walk into the launch pods) (Their suits materialize on their bodies) Guys! I have been radar tracking Jamess flight! OH MY GOD! COLLISION COURSE! JAMESS FLIGHT IS ON COLLISION COURSE WITH A TRANSINTERNATIONAL AIRLINES FLIGHT, IMPACT FOUR MINUTES! (Scott, Aaron and Sean fly upwards) [Back on BA117] Charles: I cannot wait to get on the ground my legs are killing me! Megan: Well be down on the ground soon! Mark: Cannot wait to see New York!! (James and Edward look at each other) TO BE CONTINUED
