1 Tunes for HISS Volume 2 version 1.0, 2017 An unofficial fringe contribution This volume adds to the first volume of tunes to play in the bar in the evenings, or sat on the grass after lunch, or wherever the fancy strikes. These ones are mostly traditional-style tunes, either old or new. I’ve gone for simple versions - add twiddles ad lib. Ditto better chords. Some go too low for flutes and descant recorders, sorry about that. Try replacing low B with D, E, F, or G - one of them should work. Big thanks to Heather Minnion, who contributed much of the contents and worked hard as a proof-reader. (Despite which, any remaining slips are my responsibility.) Also thanks to Mike Bennett, Anne Cope, Stewart Hardy, and Jake Heringman, who have allowed us to use their excellent tunes and arrangements. Mistakes, comments, suggestions? Volume 2

version 1.0, 2017

An unofficial fringe contribution

This volume adds to the first volume of tunes to play in the bar in the evenings, or sat on the grassafter lunch, or wherever the fancy strikes. These ones are mostly traditional-style tunes, either oldor new. I’ve gone for simple versions - add twiddles ad lib. Ditto better chords.

Some go too low for flutes and descant recorders, sorry about that. Try replacing low B with D, E,F, or G - one of them should work.

Big thanks to Heather Minnion, who contributed much of the contents and worked hard as aproof-reader. (Despite which, any remaining slips are my responsibility.) Also thanks to MikeBennett, Anne Cope, Stewart Hardy, and Jake Heringman, who have allowed us to use theirexcellent tunes and arrangements.
