Lonedell R-14 School District received “Distinction in Performance” Award-

Forty-five school districts in south-central Missouri who earned the ―Distinction in Perform-

ance‖ award were recently honored by state education officials. The Lonedell R-14 School

District was one of the districts receiving the award for 2008-09. The Distinction in Perform-

ance award is one of the state’s most prestigious honors for local school districts. It is based

on the district’s performance relative to student performance standards that are used to de-

termine state accreditation through the Missouri School Improvement Program. In order to

earn distinction in performance, districts must meet the majority of these performance stan-

dards at either a high or significantly improved level.

Lonedell’s administration is extremely proud of the teachers, staff, and students who have worked so hard to receive this award for the 2008-2009 school year.

We’re on the Web!
