Spring of 2011. Around the
stable, the outdoor arena
and several more large pas-
tures are being worked on
daily. We plan to have street
lighting installed this fall. As
you have seen, several sheds
and covers are under con-
struction as well.
Of special importance to
Wallace, myself, and Sandra,
is to do things really well and
not cut corners. Long term it
saves big money but even
more important is that we all
have a beautiful unique
place to call home. Thanks
for your patience and sup-
port.

In the hustle and bustle of today’s megabit world, the residents of many communities simply pull into the drive-way at the end of the day and disappear within the confines of their dwellings, lost in an anonymous sea of cookie cutter homes. The vibrant, close knit neighborhoods of our parents and grandparents are gone...or are they? Norwood and Sandra Thompson had a dream of a neighborhood where the people would come home from work and take long walks with their families, along the streets or the trails, meeting and conversing with each other along the way. Their vision is:
• A meaningful community where frequent gatherings occur at the pool and the Piazza, and where the neighbors trust each other for more than just a cup of sugar.
• A safe place where we all know each other’s children, and they can freely roam the neighborhood with the comfort that we are all looking out for them.
• A serene environment of natural beauty that calms and provides a sense of contentment. This dream is Portofino, and the only thing left to say is, “WELCOME HOME, FAMILY, WELCOME HOME”.
