Basant Kumar,JAI Winners of Question Box: This year company has given handsome increments to its staff members. Increment amount is record high. This is because of inflation but this has become possible due to improved performance of company at all level. We want upgradation of our staff but it needs major jump in profitability. Every member of the NITCO FAMILY is required to give its best and the best will bounce back to them in the form of better financial status. For ensuring this, we have to take certain measures for continuous and sustained growth of the company. We can achieve this by: 1. Business Growth: Many stations are stagnant in business growth. In some stations growth is nominal. In coming weeks special attention is required to be paid to business growing stations. Do intensive marketing for growing stations and send them maximum R/Ls so as to increase bookings as well as deliveries. 2. Old Recoveries: Old recoveries are still continuing at most of the stations. This is adversely affecting company's liquidity. We have to streamline our recoveries for smooth inflow of funds. Clear all dispute with parties, seek help from HO/HQ where required, get your accounts reconciled and make your station flawless in recovery matters. 3. Short / Excess: Problem of short / excess is still going on. Major reason of this is careless attitude of our loading staff and I/C stations are not paying attention to this. Every month company is paying huge claims and it is eating up major part of the company's profit. If this trend of short / excess is not checked the management may be constrained to take some firm steps against defaulting staff members. 4. Hiring of Trucks: Hiring of trucks is also an important aspect for business growth. Better hiring at low rates with low advance freight must be ensured. Trucks should be hired through reputed broker at lowest possible rates. If the given measures are implemented in letter & spirit, the level of sustained growth will not elude us and we will certainly achieve the desired upliftment of our company initially and of our staff as a whole thereafter. bl o"kZ dEiuh us vius LVkQ dks cgqr vPNh o`f) nh gSA o`f) dh jkf'k bl ckj vkf/kdÙke gSA ,Slk eagxkbZ dks ns[krs gq;s fd;k x;k] ijUrq ;s dEiuh ds iwjs rkSj ij csgrj izn'kZu dh otg ls lEHko gks ldkA ge vius LVkQ dk mRFkku pkgrs gSa ijUrq ;g dEiuh ds ykHk esa mNky ds lkFk gh lEHko gSA fuVdks ifjokj ds gj lnL; dks viuk csgrjhu iznZ'ku djuk gksxk ftlls oks iyV dj csgrj foÙkh; ykHk ds lkFk muds ikl vk;sxhA bls fuf'pr cukus ds fy;s ges dqN dne dEiuh ds fujUrj fodkl ds fy;s mBkus gksaxsA bls ge uhps fn, iz;klksa ls izkIr dj ldrs gSaA 1- O;kikj esa fodkl%& O;kikj esa fodkl dh n`f"V ls dqN LVs'ku Bgjko dh fLFkfr esa gSA dqN LVs'kuksa ij cM+k lk/kkj.k lk fodkl gSA O;kikj esa fodkl djus okys LVs'kuksa dks vkSj csgrj cukus ds fy;s muij /;ku nsuk t#jh gSA foLr`r ekfdZfVax dhft;s rFkk T;knk ls T;knk vkj ,y Hkstsa rkfd cqfdax vkSj fMfyojh dks c<+k;k tk ldsA 2- iqjkuh fjdojh%& cgqr lkjs LVs'kuksa ij iqjkuh fjdofj;ka vHkh Hkh iM+h gSA blls dEiuh dh rjyrk ij foijhr izHkko iM+rk gSA gesa viuh fjdojh dks lgh djuk gS rkfd Q.Ml dk vkuk rst gks ldsA vius iqjkus fjdojh ds elyksa dks gy dhft;sA tgka t#jr gks ,p vks @ ,p D;w dh enn yhft;s] vius [kkrksa dks Bhd jf[k;s vkSj vius LVs'ku dks rzqfV&ghu fjdojh okyk LVs'ku cukb;sA 3- 'kkVZ&,DlSl%& ;s leL;k vHkh Hkh tkjh gSA bldk eq[; dkj.k yksfMax LVkQ dh ykijokgh vkSj LVs'ku bUpktZ dk bl rjQ /;ku u nsuk gSA gj eghus bldh otg ls dEiuh dks Hkkjh Dyse nsus iM+rs gSaA ;s dEiuh ds ykHk ds cM+s fgLls dks fuxy jgk gSA vxj ;s fLFkfr ugha lq/kjrh gS rks dEiuh dks dM+s dne mBkus gksaxsA 4- Vªd gk;j djuk%& xkfM+;kaekfdZV ls gk;j djuk Hkh O;kikj esa fodkl dk ,d egRoiw.kZ igyw gSA gesa de jsV ij xkfM;ka ysuk vkSj xkfM+;ksa dks de ,Mokal] nsus dks lqfuf'pr cukuk gSA Vªd vPNh lk[k okys vkSj de jsV okys czksdjksa ls ysus gSaA vxj ge bu ekin.Mksa dk v{kj'k% ikyu djrs gSa rks fujUrj fodkl dk Lrj gels nwj ugha jg ldrk rFkk ge fuf'pr :i ls dEiuh ds fodkl vksj mRFkku dk fgLlk cu ldrs gS ftldk ykHk gesa O;fDrxr rkSj ij Hkh vo'; gksxkA

Hereunder is the overview of circulars. Please go through it:-l As we all know that the name of the company has been

changed from M/s Nitco Roadways Private Limited to M/s Nitco Logistics Private Limited as per fresh certificate of corporation dt: 26.04.10 issued by ROC, J&K. but still stations are receiving cheques from the parties in the name of M/s Nitco Roadways Private Limited which causes problems & delay in our recovery amount as bankers do not accept these cheques. The existing bank accounts are either in the name of " M/s Nitco Logistics Private Limited" or "M/s Nitco Roadways". So please don't accept payments from parties which are in the name of M/s Nitco Roadways Private Limited. Please ensure compliance of the same.Ref: 46/NCO/146 dt: 13.08.12Sub: Cheques favoring M/s Nitco Roadways Private Limited

l Cases have come to our notice that some stations are charging extra amount from drivers while releasing the balance freight. I/C station to please note that any additional charge collected from balance freight will result in getting truck on higher freight rates. Please note & ensure that no additional charge is collected while making balance freight payment.Ref: 48/NCO/148 dt: 20.08.12Sub: Extra charges - Dala / Munshiana

l Sh. Sudhir Vashistha, (ID: 011958) working at B.O.AGR, has been transferred to MBO GWL, in place of Sh. Ramesh Babu. Mobile no of Sh.S.K. Vashistha is 09301120448. All I/C Stations to please note.Ref: 50/NCO/150 dt: 23.08.12Sub: Administration Set up - MBO GWL.

NED UPDATE Circulars in a nutshell

- The Ten Commandments of Great Customer Service

- Customer service is an integral part of our job and should not be seen as an extension of it. A company's most vital asset is its customers. Without them, we would not and could not exist in business. When you satisfy your customers, they not only help us grow by continuing to do business with you, but recommend you to friends and associates.

- The practice of customer service should be as present on the show floor as it is in any other sales environment.

1. Start your day with breakfast.Breakfast fills your "empty tank" to get you going after a long night without food. And it can help you do better in office. Easy to prepare breakfasts include cold cereal with fruit and low-fat milk, whole-wheat toast with peanut butter, yogurt with fruit, whole-grain waffles or even last night's pizza!

2. Get Moving! It's easy to fit physical activities into your daily routine. Walk, bike or jog to see friends. Take a 10-minute activity break every hour while you read. Climb stairs instead of taking an escalator or elevator. Try to do these things for a total of 30 minutes every day.

3. Snack smart.Snacks are a great way to refuel. Choose snacks from different food groups - a glass of low-fat milk and a few graham crackers, an apple or celery sticks with peanut butter and raisins, or some dry cereal. If you eat smart at other meals, cookies, chips and candy are OK for occasional snacking.

4. Work up a sweat.Vigorous work-outs - when you're breathing hard and sweating - help your heart pump better, give you more energy and help you look and feel best. Start with a warm-up that stretches your muscles. Include 20 minutes of aerobic activity, such as running, jogging, or dancing. Then cool-down with more stretching and deep breathing.

LibraYour life is busier than usual this month, dear Libra, when you feel the need for a break from the more competitive or demanding elements of your life. Friends can be wonderfully helpful, particularly mid-month, when they might offer up pleasant distractions and encouraging words. Family relationships are moody and not especially reliable, but overall, a

partner tends to support your actions. You are making the connection between money and freedom. The way to your heart now is a practical route; you're most interested in reliability and security than you are in more flowery attention.Lucky Numbers: 7, 21, 31 Birthstone: Opal or Tourmaline Lucky Color: Blue, Yellow, Black, White Ruling Planet: Venus Most compatible with: Gemini, Aquarius, Virgo, Leo, Aries Special Qualities: Fair, Balanced, Artistic, Peace maker Weaknesses: Indecisive, Confused Most Clashes with: Taurus, Capricorn, Scorpio, Sagittarius
