Missouri 4-H Youth feeding communities

service campaign Announcing the Missouri 4-H

Youth Feeding Communities

service campaign in 2013 and

the Invest an Acre program.

/hunger/ Missouri 4-H youth of all ages

are invited to join the

Revolution of Responsibility in

2013 to help solve the growing

problem of hunger in their

communities. 4-Hers can join

by doing ANY service that

involves hunger awareness,

Individual youth, 4-H clubs,

and groups can report their

hours and results on an online

site by the end of 2013!

The overall goal is to log

10,000 hours of MO 4-H youth

and adult service hours by Dec.

31, 2013. Groups will be able

to log their service hours and

results on an online site, see

how they have added to the

cause, and receive recognition!

As one project idea, youth may

want to learn about and

promote the Invest an Acre

program for local farmers.

Invest an Acre gives farmers an

opportunity to donate one acre

or more of their harvest at the

local grain elevator, with

proceeds going to the local food

bank. Monsanto has agreed to
