THE VERB

Voice of the VerbIt tells whether the subject is the doer or the receiver of the action.

It can be active or passive.

Active Voice

It is used for making clear and strong sentences.

The subject of the sentence performs the action.

Passive VoiceThe subject of the sentence receives the action.

This is used when we want to make the object more important.

It is also used when the doer of the action is unknown.
