Nov. 12 – Depart USA to Tel Aviv

Nov. 13 – Arrive in Tel AvivToday you arrive in Tel Aviv. Be met at the airport and transferred toyour hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Nov. 14 – Mt. of Olives, Gethsemane, Shrine of the Book Museum, Pool of SiloamStand atop the Mount of Olives, where Jesus ascended into Heaven40 days after His resurrection (Acts 1). Walk down the Palm SundayRoad to the Garden of Gethsemane & pray among the olive trees inthe Kidron Valley across from the walls of Jerusalem. Understandbetter the Jerusalem of Jesus’ day with a look at the First CenturyModel of the City of Jerusalem at the Shrine of the Book where theDead Sea Scrolls are displayed. Also on today's schedule is the Pool ofSiloam where the Lord healed the blind man as recorded in John 9.

Nov. 15 – Bethlehem, Upper Room, Old City Tour, Pool of Bethesda,CardoToday cross the border into Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus (Luke2). We will walk through portions of the Old City of Jerusalem,discovering the sights and sounds from the modern shops amongstthe remains of the ancient city. See some of the streets known as theVia Dolorosa and visit the Pool of Bethesda where the man who wassick for 38 years was healed on the Sabbath (John 5). Continue yourjourney through the Old City to the Cardo. This ancient marketplacehas ruins that date back to the Judean monarchy among modernshops.

Nov. 16 – Mt. Zion, Upper Room, Southern Steps, Garden Tomb, Gordon’s CalvaryVisit Mount Zion and the Upper Room, scene of the Last Supper ofJesus and His disciples. Continue to the Southern Wall Excavationsincluding the Teaching Steps and the Western Wall. Reflect on theagony of the cross at Gordon’s Calvary and the exhilaration of theresurrection at the Garden Tomb.

Nov. 17 – Valley of Elah, Beth Shemesh, Dead SeaToday you depart Jerusalem and begin with a visit to the site of Davidslaying Goliath in the Valley of Elah (1 Sam. 17). Continuing south,come to Beth Shemesh where the Ark of the Covenant was returnedto Israel after it had been captured by the Philistines (1 Sam. 6).Finally, arrive at your hotel on the shores of the Dead Sea and enjoy aswim in the mineral laden waters before dinner and a good night'ssleep.

Nov. 18 - Ein Gedi, Jericho, Jordan Valley, Bet Shean,Jordan River Baptism, Tiberias

After breakfast, continue north along the coastline of the Dead Sea toEin Gedi which David used as a refuge to hide from King Saul (1 Sam.23). Enter Jericho and see the remains of the oldest inhabited city inthe world. We will journey through the Jordan Valley where the

Jordan River flows and arrive at Bet Shean, site of one of the 10 citiesof the Decapolis and also where the bodies of Saul and his sons hungfrom the city gates after the defeat of Israel at the hands of thePhilistines (1 Sam. 31). Continue to the southernmost point of the Seaof Galilee. Here, you can remember your baptism at the YardenitBaptismal site, where the Jordan River exits the Sea of Galilee on itsjourney southward (Matt. 3).

Nov. 19 - Boat Ride, Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Mt. of Beatitudes,Dan, Caesarea PhilippiEnjoy a Boat Ride on the Sea of Galilee and appreciate the specialplace this lake had in Jesus' ministry. Drive along the shores of the Seaof Galilee, passing the area of Magdala, home of Mary Magdalene (Jn.20). Travel to Capernaum, and stand in the ruins of the synagogue builtatop the remains of the one in which Jesus taught (Lk. 4). See theexcavations that include where Peter's house is thought to have beenlocated. Visit the peaceful Mount of Beatitudes that overlooks the Seaof Galilee. On this hill, Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount (Matt.5-7). Visit the tel of Dan, one of ancient Israel's boundary markers -"From Dan to Beersheba". Journey to Caesarea Philippi, where Peterproclaimed, "You are the Christ" (Matthew 16).

Nov. 20 – Nazareth, Megiddo, Mt. Carmel, Caesarea Maritima,Dinner, Tel Aviv AirportRecall Jesus’ first miracle as you pass through Cana (John 2). VisitNazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus and stand on the Mount ofPrecipice, the place where an enraged hometown mob attempted tothrow Jesus off the cliff. Travel the ancient caravan route to TelMegiddo where 20 different cities lie superimposed upon each other.Mt. Carmel is the site where Elijah prayed down the judgment firefrom heaven and destroyed the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18). Journeyto Caesarea by the Sea and stand in the place where it is believed Pauladdressed King Agrippa and Festus (Acts 25, 26). This port city revealsmany extensive remains of the theater and other sites, including aRoman aqueduct along the Mediterranean shore. Enjoy an eveningdinner before transferring to the Tel Aviv airport to begin the returnjourney.

Nov. 21 – Return to USAReturn home with a transformed faith memories to last a lifetime!
