  • Perfunctory Definition: Adj- automatic, unthinking. Synonyms: careless, cool, uninterested, going through the motions and laid back. Sentence: After the owner announced to his workers that he was retiring, he perfunctorily made his way out the door crying, and weeping wishing he didnt have to go.

  • Meticulous Definition: Adj- taking or showing extreme care about minute details; precise; thorough Synonyms: careful, close, correct, discriminating. Sentence: The scientist from the movie Monster vs. Alien meticulously studied the robot tat tried to destroy them, and the town as well.
