ROATAN

www.Go2Roatan.com

The island of Roatan is the largest of the Bay Islands. Located about 40 miles from the northern coast of Honduras, resting in the turquoise Caribbean Sea, Roatan is surrounded by a beautiful coral reef. As part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef (the world's second-largest reef), this area around the Bay Islands is regularly noted for having some of the best scuba diving and snorkeling in the world. In addition to these underwater activities, Roatan offers an amazing array of other fun things to do and entertainment options for your enjoyment. Whether you're visiting Roatan for only one day on a cruise ship stop or you're coming for a longer stay to enjoy living on Island Time, you can create your dream island vacation in Roatan.

Cruise ship visitors often take advantage of our plethora of outdoor activities, from scuba diving and snorkeling to zipline canopy tours and animal rescue centers. You can swim with dolphins or with sharks; you can relax on a beachfront lounge chair on the calm water's edge. Take an island tour by car to see various

neighborhoods and notable local attractions or head out for a day of deep-sea fishing only minutes from shore.

If you'll be visiting Roatan for a longer stay, take advantage of the many boutique hotel and resort options on the island, or any of a multitude of vacation rentals. If you're seeking complete privacy and total tranquility, Roatan's East End is largely undeveloped and offers traditional Caribbean charm. Centrally on the island, you'll find several high-end resorts providing the utmost in service and amenities. Heading west, enjoy the fun and entertaining areas of Sandy Bay, West End, and West Bay – filled with restaurants, bars, and every activity you could want on a tropical island. In Roatan, you can truly customize your dream trip and make it reality.

We welcome you to our idyllic island! But, be warned: many who come to visit simply decide they never want to leave. They realized that Roatan truly is paradise.

UTILA

www.Go2Roatan.com

Known as the Whale Shark Capital of the World, the Bay Island of Utila enjoys sightings of whale sharks throughout the year – a rare phenomenon. Utila is also known to offer some of the cheapest scuba diving certification courses in some of the best conditions possible. If your aim is to enjoy incredible scuba diving at affordable prices, you won't find a better location than Utila.

The island has one main town, Utila Town, filled with dive shops, bars, restaurants, and some stores. Golf carts, quads, and scooters are the normal mode of motorized transport, but walking or bicycling will get you most anywhere you want to go. Taxis are plentiful for any distances you don't want to walk.

If you're seeking a bit more solitude away from Town, Utila also offers an array of stunning vacation rental properties. Take a look at private villas, cabanas on the beach, and even private islands – small cays just off Utila's shore.

Utila's primary draw is, of course, scuba

diving. Short boat rides out to the world's second-largest barrier reef system, extensive visibility, and year-round pleasant temperatures make Utila ideal for diving, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and other water sports are all popular in Utila as well.

Utila is also known for its nightlife. You can party until the early hours and then walk back to your accommodations to sleep it off. You'll be ready to go for another day of diving before happy hour hits again. Live music, themed nights, and an annual music festival the first weekend in August all round out Utila's exciting nightlife scene.

There is still plenty to keep you occupied if you'd like to avoid the bars and parties. Relax on the beach all day, wade into the clear Caribbean water, snorkel or scuba dive to your heart's content, and top off each day with the most stunning night sky emblazoned with stars.

We know your vacation to Utila will be everything you want…and more.

GUANAJA

www.Go2Roatan.com

Gorgeous Guanaja…the island of pines. It was the island of Guanaja that Christopher Columbus and his crew came upon during their fourth and final journey west. The crew set sail from this lush isle surrounded by deep waters to finally realize an entire continent lay beyond all the islands they'd already visited.

The vast majority of the population on Guanaja resides in Bonacca or The Cay. This small cay just off the main island is sometimes called the Venice of the Caribbean for its compact residential area and many small waterways running through. On the main island, Mangrove Bight and Savannah Bight are two other popular areas. Individual homes and small resorts dot the island as well.

Transportation is primarily by boat around Guanaja. A channel splits the island, allowing travel north to south without having to skirt the entire island. There are cars on Guanaja, though not many as the road isn't very long.

Visitors to Guanaja seek total respite from life back home. Guanaja is an escape

from commercialism and chaos; a pristine tropical island where time slows down and worries slip away. Scuba diving and snorkeling are similarly fantastic to the other Bay Islands, and other water activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing are popular as well.

Guanaja is the only Bay Island boasting beautiful waterfalls flowing down its hilly terrain. You can enjoy hiking and nature trails, birdwatching and waterfall spotting; this is a true paradise for nature lovers.

Getting to Guanaja is the only challenging part of your vacation. You'll need to either fly into Roatan or the mainland. From either of those locations, you can connect with a local flight or charter your own flight. Occasionally, there is the opportunity to go to Guanaja from Roatan by boat, but you'll need to charter that as well.

Once you arrive in this verdant paradise, you will fall in love with its captivating beauty.

ACTIVITIESThe Bay Islands of Honduras are a nature-lover's paradise. Our islands offer ample opportunity to enjoy the Caribbean Sea, plus the enchanting tropical jungle that covers our isles. Throughout the Bay Islands, you can expect world-class scuba diving and snorkeling over the world's second-largest barrier reef system. Whale sharks are frequently spotted passing close to Utila. Roatan gets a fair share of those sightings throughout the

year as well. Both Guanaja and Roatan are noted for their hilly terrain, providing an ideal location for zipline canopy tours, hiking, waterfalls, and botanical gardens. Throughout the islands, you can enjoy other water activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, deep-sea fishing, glass-bottom boat tours, and more. In Roatan, you can even test your skills on the Pete Dye-designed Black Pearl championship golf course.
