All large decorations that encroach upon another family’s site will be removed, as well as those which obstruct the normal daily operations of the park (burials, landscaping, etc.). All decorations are the sole responsibility of the family. Green Hills Memorial Park is not responsible for flowers or decorations placed on a grave or mausoleum crypt. Artificial flowers are permitted in the Mausoleums only. Artificial flowers left on interment sites will be removed. All artificial flowers will be removed from the mausoleums once each year beginning the first Saturday in November. Flowers and decorations are removed each Thursday and Friday, except for special seasons as described in this brochure. Flowers are a lovely gift and will be left on the site or outside the mausoleum on the lawn up to two days after a funeral service. If you are planning to retrieve any floral arrangements after a funeral, we suggest you do so at the conclusion of the service. We ask that you respect the property of others. Theft of flowers or personal items is a crime and will be prosecuted. Green Hills Memorial Park reserves the right to remove any items except flowers during normal maintenance activities. REVERENCE AND SAFETY While visiting, we ask for quiet and reverence. Loud and abusive conduct is not allowed, and alcohol is never permitted. Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult at all times, especially by the lake, and should never be left alone in vehicles. Please lock your vehicle while visiting a site. Green Hills Memorial Park is not responsible for lost or stolen goods. Please drive slowly throughout the Park. We ask that visitors refrain from using skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, and roller skates. The Lake is a popular feature of our Park. The water is several feet deep and children should be accompanied at all times by an adult. While the feeding of the ducks is permitted, please do not throw trash or other debris in the water. Help us preserve the beauty and natural habitat of our wildlife and fish. CODE OF CONDUCT Green Hills Memorial Park (GHMP) reserves the right to compel all persons entering GHMP property to obey these Rules of Conduct for Park Visitors. To protect the privacy and safety of mourners and those interred (buried) at GHMP, GHMP preserves the right to exclude anyone who is not visiting a friend or relative. All persons entering GHMP must display proper respect for the deceased and for the sacred grounds in which they are interred. Persons exhibiting disruptive or disrespectful behavior will be asked to leave. No person may handle or touch any GHMP property, including but not limited to GHMP equipment, trash and landscaping, without GHMP express permission. No person may take photographs or make films on GHMP property without GHMP express permission. No person may consume alcoholic beverages, smoke marijuana or use or possess illegal drugs on GHMP property. No person may use any device that projects amplified sound or music on GHMP property, including as broadcast through the use of a car radio, without GHMP express permission. No person may use propane stove tops or barbeques on GHMP property. No person may engage in sporting activities of any kind on GHMP property. No person may remove decorations, flowers or other items that do not belong to them on GHMP property, including on interment sites. All persons must enter or exit GHMP property though the private entrances that GHMP has designated for public use. Any person attempting to enter or exit GHMP property through access points not designed for public use will be considered a trespasser. Any person found on GHMP property after closing hours as posted will be considered a trespasser. No person may loiter on GHMP property or enter any areas not open to visitors. All persons visiting GHMP shall use only the avenues, roads, walks and paths and shall have the right of access over the paths and walks in the area in which the grave or plot they are visiting is located. Violators of these Rules of Conduct for Park Visitors or trespassers on GHMP property will be ejected therefrom, arrested and prosecuted and held liable under the law for any damage done by them. Anyone who persistently violates said Rules of Conduct for Park Visitors may be permanently excluded from GHMP property. L IFE IS U NFORGETTABLE
