Visiting the World Hort-Expo Garden on July9, 1999,I went to Kunming by car to pay a visit to the World Hort-Expo Garden.Kunming is a beautiful city,and I thought the Expo Garden must be more beautiful.

I thought was true.The Expo Garden showed us the best plants of the world.We could see flowers and trees everywhere.Some of them were standing in rows or in circles.If you stand at a distance,you would find that the Garden was just like a picture! The flowers looked lovelier in the sunshine.sit near them,I felt I was in the sea of flowers.I was as happy as a bird,flying over the sea

There are many foreigners from different parts of the world.They spoke different languages.And I could.

Hardly understand what they said.But it did not matter.

They were very friendly to us,and they often had warm smile on their faces.

I stayed in kunming for 4days.I felt very happy.

My mother

My mother is 38 years old . She is a tall woman with two black eyes .She works very hard on weekdays,but at the weekend she is also do some housework .

My mother likes flowers very much,especially rose and lily.So do I.We often discuss some problems about flowers together.It is really a nice thing for us.

My mother is a very kind woman.She often helps people with something they need.Like helps an old woman buy some vegetables,helps a young woman take care of her baby.Our neighbours all speak highly of her, and I am very proud of my dear mother.

I decide to learn from my mother.I want to learn how to be such a good woman from her.

A Dog

A dog is a kind of pet animal.It often lives with people at home.

Many people like to keep a dog for pleasure because it is clever and it can understand them. People feed the dog and built a house for it. Dogs can do a lot of things for people.

Dogs are good friends of people.Some can look after the house,and some can catch bandits.At night,if you go out with a dog , you will not feel afraid.

Dogs are really our good friends. We should take care of them.

Last Saturday,my mother and I went to a shop full of school things.When we got there, a shopper came up and asked me to buy a very nice pen.

It was really a beautiful pen,but it was too expensive for me. After a long time thought, I decided to give it up.But my mother said to the shopper that she wanted to buy it for me.I could not believe my ears. My mother looked at me and said,” I think this pen is not only beautiful,but also very useful .No matter how much it is.I hope you can work harder with it.”

I was so thankful to my dear mother .I must work harder on all my lessons to make her smile.
